Really? What is required then? A basic idea, or a storyboard outline for a pilot, an actual pilot, etc.?

I want to say a story board of an episode and all of the dialogue. check them out at their site! They are pretty cool
I've spoken to one of the main guys there (president I think) named Eric. He's super nice. They are the ones that put out Adventure time and Bravest Warriors.

I wouldn't say it's simple.... just not impossible. They review your work, and let you know what they think. If they don't like it, then it's back to the drawing board

I think the art style for my comic would look AMAZING animated. But, most of my characters are older, so there might be some themes and jokes that might go over younger audiences heads. I'd pitch it to Cartoon Network, or maybe some popular YouTube network (Rooster Teeth?).

How do you go about pitching a webcomic as an animation, I wonder?

I'm not sure for Cartoon Network, I know if your audience is 14 y/o then you can pitch to Frederator pretty easily.

i have an animated movie idea i'd love to pitch sometime! it's a scifi jukebox musical i've based around muse songs that takes place on an alien planet where humans are kept as pets (and the resistance group fighting them)

I do have an idea for a kid's show. I don't know much about pitching tho.

It's about a group of anthro woodland creatures who help human children with their feelings and emotions. (Sort of a less cutesy Care Bears).

I made a couple of animations on Newgrounds years back and they are super cringe-worthy, yet I still love them. And yeah it took for blinking ever.

Now my goal is more making a GIF here and there to add some depth to a work.

I'm in the animation biz so maybe one day I could pitch a cartoon though the process sounds pretty complicated. My studio is already pitching one so I might even get to work on a cartoon one day.

i have a buncha ideas for cartoons running through my head haha. the comic im doing is actually based on a short i did for my senior thesis! rn im working on a short about a boy and his two dogs (get it...the yo-yos are his dogs HA).

im also workin on this short about bunbot, the bunbot boy.

i would love to get picked up by a studio to produce a cartoon some day but im happy with doing shorts in my spare time too!
