The others followed suit. Holl picked up Ava before going inside, the little robo dog glancing around curiously at the guy’s interior.

The Equalists led the group to a shed that looked like it was on the cusp of collapse. Once everyone got inside, they were led down an elevator which showed an underground cave with technological advancements.

“Hey! We’ve got more helpers!” The man in the wheelchair yelled. Three more people showed up. Two young men and one young woman.

“Meet Gonvonope, Quami, and Iyami. They’re definitely not old, but since our old friends died a few years back, they’ve been members in their own right. Alpha Woman told the RP.

Callan hopped into the elevator just before it descended. He rejoined Flor once they all filed out.

"Nice to meet you all." Shepherd smiled at the new faces.

"Gonvonope... Jupiter's kid?" Barrett said, remembering the name.

Quami and Iyami waved to the group. Although Iyami took one glance at Speerce and started blushing. Much to Speerce’s suspicion ().

“Aren’t you the guys who were vacationing in space with my dad?” Gonvonope asked.

“Is that the first thing you say to our new helpers? Sheesh. Kids.” Quami said unimpressed.

“It’s ok.” Shepherd said as Quami scolded Gonvonope. “I suppose we were, only we weren’t having a holiday, we were trying to find our way home.”

“Fat chance o’ that ever ‘appenin’…” Barrett grumbled.

Jack found a quiet corner to sit down and lick the mud off his feet.

Fubuki went to go wipe the mud off his feet instead, clearly a bit of a neat freak.

"No.... That's how you get Cholera...." Fubuki told Jack.

Jack giggled loudly as Fubuki took care of him. Seems he had rather ticklish paw pads. “Colly raarh!”

“Ummmm. Okay. I uhhh— already spoke to him. So he has his old position back. Which is okay. Being a Mystic Superior was a tough job.” Gonvonope said nonchalantly as he motioned for everyone to follow him.

“He’s not wrong. It’s a damn tough job.” Ironstar said to Shepherd.

O’ Bryan made himself visible again once the group was all safely underground. “I’m okay with not goin’ home,” he mumbled after overhearing Barrett’s comment.

Fubuki gave him a medical book to read to distract him from squirming as his paws were cleared.

"Here, it's the first book my parents gave me when I was two. Be careful with it please." She told the pup.

“Same here.” Callan said to O’Bryan.

“Oh, come on yer miserable gits.” Barrett muttered to the pair of them before following after Jupiter’s son.

Jack opened the book upside down and tilted his head so he could look at the illustrations.

It was mostly about Tarako Biology and how they functioned and common health problems they had and how to best treat them. Basically a university grade textbook more or less.

“Alright. Since you’re all here helping the Mystic Superiors fight this battle. We’ll inform you of a discovery that might end this war quickly. Govonope said as Iyami pulled up an image of a meteor shower on the giant flat screen computer.

“For the past year, we’ve been working with Fault Line and the Technology Sages to study our planet’s orbital patterns to calculate when exactly the Stars of Tenkoma will arrive in summer. We found out that another celestial event will happen just before the constellation arrives. Gaddafi’s meteor shower.”

“Gaddafi’s meteor shower will render Reanus powerless. But it’ll do the same for us. We will help you get to the Blood Viper Nation safely. But you’ll have to be the ones to defeat Reanus yourselves. The meteor shower won’t affect you guys with superpowers.” Iyami clarified.

Callan ignored Barrett and smiled at Flor. “You too. Did anything happen while I was gone?” He asked.

Jack couldn’t read a word of it, but the book kept him entertained regardless.

"Assassination Mission then?" Fubuki said as she finished cleaning up Jack's feet and got some little booties out for him. "I know a thing or two about that. Should be easy."

Jack hugged Fubuki and excitedly took the boots. He busied himself trying to put them on his feet as the others talked.

“Do we really need to kill him?” Shepherd said, looking concerned.

“They didn’t last time, and look what ‘appened.” Barrett reminded the elf.

"Don't need powers anyway," said Williams, twirling his sword. "We can handle this easy."

Flor smiled back. She thought about the reaper fellow they had ran into.

"N-not really. Saw a man in creepy robes who sh-showed us the way," she said.

“One more thing. Gaddafi’s meteor shower will only last six hours. So you don’t have all day to defeat him, kill him, I don’t care. I trust you all can work fast.” Govonope added.
