(Alright, at this point in the plot I’m done introducing the group to all of the ‘important people’ after this .)

“Then it’s settled. If we’re all on the same page, we can introduce ourselves. Roll call!” The old blind lady said.

“Earthquake of the Technology Empire.” The old man said.

“Orange Atom of the Science Kingdom” the man in the wheelchair said.

“Bioelectronik of the Engineering Dynasty.” The man with two prosthetic arms said.

“Alpha Woman of the Math Monarchy.” The blind woman said. “The Order of Equalists will help you in this war. I pray that this time, we’ll finally put an end to Reanus’s reign of terror. Together.”

“Really? We um, followed a crow.” Callan told Flor.

Shepherd shrunk back from the conversation as a few of the group discussed killing Reanus.

“Well, I’m all fired up. Shame we ‘ave ter wait.” Barrett said.

Jack grinned and stomped around in his very first pair of shoes.

“Are you okay?” Ironstar asked Shepherd.

“I’m with you on that. Celestial events like these don’t happen often. But when they do, they’re usually spectacular.” Scorpion told Barrett.

“In our time, we just relied on our own smarts to defeat Reanus. How fortunate we are that we may put an end to him. Permanently.” Earthquake added.

Diamond Phoenix took off his mask and yawned.

“Why don’t we break for now and start heading back to Shiyk Shyan first thing tomorrow morning?” He asked.

“Sounds alright ta me.” Sam said.
“I’m going to stop in town to get some food for us. I’ll be back shortly.” Shadow Scorpion said going to the elevator.

Shepherd nodded. “Yes, I’m alright.” He answered, not sounding too sure.

“I wonder what Reanus is capable of, even without magical powers.” Callan said to Flor.

“DON’T FORGET ALE!” Barrett called to Shadow Scorpion.

“Well… do we really have to kill Reanus… is there really no other way to stop him?” Shepherd said to Ironstar.

Barrett didn’t look too pleased with Shadow Scorpion’s reply, but he was soon distracted by Orange Atom. “Aye, you could say that. I’m rather robust, as far as Sirens go.” The Knight held his head high and rounded his shoulders to appear bigger.

Jack crawled around showing off his new boots to everyone.

Orange Atom laughed at Barrett’s boastfulness. “Hey, Soupé, get a load of this guy! He’s about to carry the weight of this whole team on his back.”

Earthquake walked up to the two men and inspected Barrett.

“How much do you lift?”

Ironstar pointed to Shepherd to take a seat with him on a nearby couch.

“I’ll be honest. The thought of us killing Reanus doesn’t feel right to me either. I mean sure he’s fifty-five shades of bad, but I’ve never taken the life of anyone anywhere. Your friends on the other hand don’t really seem all that bothered by it.”

Chiku scratched at his face with his claws as he toddled about, accidentally bumping into Snapdragon. "Oop-" he said, his nose twitching as he identified who was in front of him. "Sorry Snapdragon."

Snapdragon turned around and happily licked the Pangolin, clearly not the type to hold grudges.

Jack grinned up at Waffle, Tabitha and Fubuki. “Boots!”

“Dunno. What’s a lady over each shoulder weigh. Hahahar!” Barrett responded to Earthquake’s question.

“Nor have I.” Shepherd said, concerning taking a life. “Could we not just capture him, or send him away somewhere?”
