Melvin looked the tiniest bit squicked out as Owl mentioned needing a robot head, but he only nodded and went back to observing the workers.

Tabitha glanced at the others before continuing to slink along the wall. Before long, they came across a staircase that would take them up to the next floor. She didn't hesitate in climbing it, her eyes darting back and forth for any sign that someone was watching them.
There was a hallway at the stop of the stairs, and further down the hallway was a door. It was closed, but there was no one standing near it.
"We'll have to find gas masks," Nash said, looking around. "They're probably-"
He was cut off by a quiet, mechanical whirring sound that came from behind the group.
The vault door loomed over the Titan group as they approached it. Callahan shifted his weight between his feet uncomfortably before saying, "I might have an idea."
Though his work uniform remained the same, as he held out his hand he was still able to summon his bone crook. As he wrapped his fingers around it, the group may have been able to notice that the end of it was changing shape; the curved part lengthened and straightened out, growing in width until what the boy was holding was no longer a shepherd's crook, but something akin to a sword.
When the transformation was complete, Callahan stepped up to the vault door, sizing it up before stabbing the sword through the metal. The door gave way easily under the sword, and before long he was able to cut a lopsided hole in it that was just big enough for each of the group members to make it through.
