"I suppose you're right for once. I'd rather avoid killing non-combatives," said Williams.

"Not sure that makes it any better when he wasn't in control, " said Waffle. He nodded at Shepherd's words. "I guess you're right. "

He furrowed his brow as he thought about Theodore's warning. "You think that could happen to Melvin? "

"Maybe we could rip open the Titan?" Said Flor.

“Let’s just get back to the main floor,” Tabitha said. “Hopefully Owl’ll have made some progress on that multiplex portal… or whatever he was talking about.”

“It was self defense,” Nash said. “And Shep is right. It’s not your fault or his that this happened. If he hadn’t been programmed the way he was…” he trailed off.

“Hasn’t it happened already?” Malachi asked. “Back in London. His eyes turned red and he practically broke that security guard’s arm in half.”

“Wait,” Callahan said. “Didn’t Melvin say that the memory unity are stored in the machines’ heads? Like with Florence?”

He finally fully lowered his sword. “If we can break open the head somehow, maybe we can free everyone who’s trapped inside of it.”

“I don’t know, I covered my eyes.” Shepherd admitted. “-but Melvin and Florence are different. They were born the way they are, so maybe it works differently?”

Callan looked back up at the glowing eyes of the Titan.

“Is that what you want?” He asked the trapped souls. “If it is, could you kneel.”

“I ‘aven’t seen anyone cryin’ yet.” Barrett pointed out as they walked through the factory.

"Yeah, I mean they were robots to begin with. And it's not like he'd hurt any of us..." said Waffle. He glanced back at Theodore. "We should get these canisters to Owl."

Waffle held the coin he was given. "Hey Owl, we found them."

"Do you think y you can break it open with your sword? " Flor asked Callahan.

The weapon goes into the ventilation system. Did you get masks?

"Hold on a minute."

Waffle turned to the others.
"Did anyone see masks?" He asked as he scanned the room.

“Do you mean those scary looking things?” Shepherd pointed over to a pile of bug-eyed gas masks that had what looked like a tin-can for a snout.

Waffle went over and picked up one of the masks.
"Creepy. But yeah I think these are it," he said.

The workers on the main floor didn't seem to notice as Williams, Barrett, Tabitha, Holl, and Jack made their way back.

"So... what do we do now?" Holl asked.

"Yup, that's them," Nash said, picking up one of the masks. "We'll need to get them to the others before we can start pumping the gas into the vents." He looked towards the shut doors. "We should get everyone to meet in here for that, so we'll be away from the workers."

"I can try," Callahan said.

The Titan peered down at Cal. There was a hiss of steam before it sank to its knees, doubling over as if in prayer. The cries had quieted even further, the tormented souls inside the machine anxiously awaiting to see what would happen.

"I'll tell the Captain, Owl, and Flor," said Waffle. He tapped at his watch and then held the coin.
"Got the masks. We're gonna meet in the storage room."

Williams' watch beeped.
"Walter says we should meet them at this storage room..." he said. The captain paused for a moment and muttered to himself, "Please he bigger than a closet. "

Flor was so focused on Callahan and the Titan that she didn't even noticed she got a text on her phone.

Callan wobbled on the spot as the metal giant kneeled and bowed. He jogged over to rejoin Flor and Callahan.

“You can do it.” He encouraged Callahan. “This is what you do, right.”

“… we could steal sh*t.” Barrett suggested. He wouldn’t mind helping himself to a pistol or two.

Shepherd picked up one of the masks to try it on.

"Storage room?" Tabitha said, glancing over at Williams. "Got it."

She steered clear of walking into the rows of people stationed further into the room, going back to sticking close to the wall as she looked for the storage room. "Maybe this is it...?" she said to herself when she saw the same set of steel doors that the tear gas group had broken through earlier. She tried the handle, surprised to see that the lock had been burned through (by Waffle's laser pen).

The tear gas group would have been able to hear the sound of the doors being pushed open as Tabitha and the rest came into the storage room.

Callahan shifted his weight uncomfortable, scowling at the ground. "I haven't had to help any souls move on on my own yet," he said. "But..." he sighed, turning to the Titan. "Let's get this over with," he mumbled.

Flicking one of his ears, he went up to the Titan, grabbing ahold of a piece of metal jutting out of its side before trying to haul himself up on top of it. He seemed to struggle a little bit with making his way to the Titan's head, looking unnerved at the distance between him and the ground (even if the Titan was keeled over).

The ram finally made it to the base of the giant's head, gripping his sword tightly in his fists. He peered at the machinery before him, angling the sword above it before starting to work at prying the back of the Titan's head open.

Williams followed right behind Tabitha, trying to evade any suspicion from the workers. When they reached the steel doors, his eyes narrowed on the burnt lock.

Waffle spun around holding out his pistol as the others came through the doors.
"Who's there?!"

Flor held Cal's hand.
"You can do it! " she cheered Callahan.

Shepherd frantically went to remove his mask, only to twang it back onto his face in his haste. Muffled yelp.

Jack made a beeline for Waffle so he could hug the man.

Callan gave Flor’s hand a reassuring squeeze. He apprehensively glanced from Callahan to the vaults entrance and back. “It’s weird that they don’t have guards down here.”

Waffle lowered his weapon and hugged Jack.
"Oh, it's just you Pup," he said with relief. "Hmm, there's something different about you. "

"Yeah. Especially for something so important, " said Flor.

Jack gave Waffle a confused look.

Barrett spread his arms out. “Nobody gonna hug me?” He joked.

"Maybe it's your hair? Eh, it'll come to me," said Waffle. He stood up. "Well if you really want one..."

“Humans might fly.” Barrett quipped and put his arms down.

Jack grinned, and held his hands on top of his head to look like pointed ears.

Barrett spotted the fallen robot and nudged its head with his foot. “You’ve been busy.”
