Barrett made his way to the doors to have a peek at the chaos outside.

Callan rejoined Flor and Shepherd.

"I hope they'll be alright, " said Flor as she heard the coughing.

Williams went over to the door.
"How's it look?"

Melvin nodded. He took the design and the chalk, scanning over the first before holding up the second and starting to copy the design how he was told.

In the distance, the workers from before were starting to run around in a frenzy, some covering their eyes, others doubled over in coughing fits.

Callahan squeezed by Barrett and Williams. “I’m gonna go start the evacuation,” he said. “I’ll be back.”

He ran out, yelling something in French at the workers.

"Seems ter be workin'-" Barrett told Williams before Callahan brushed between them.

"Careful out there," Williams told Callahan.

Not terribly long after Callahan disappeared into the crowd, a crackle of static filled the air, followed by a woman speaking urgently in French.

"Must be the evac announcement," Tabitha said, coming up to join Waffle and Barrett.

"Is that Callahan? " said Waffle.

“Doesn’t sound like it,” Tabitha shook her head. “Maybe he got someone to make an announcement over the intercom.”

After repeating herself a few times, the woman’s voice cut off with another crack of static.

Owl stood around where Melvin was, using his augmented arm to strip tear gas from the air and turn it into a small amount of powder, preventing it from disrupting the drawing.

Hearing the static and disembodied voice made Jack and Connie start barking.

“Oi! Put a sock in it.” Barrett scolded. “-m’ tryin’a listen.”

“You can understand what she’s saying?” Shepherd asked.

“B*llocks no-” Barrett grinned. “I like her accent.”

"That should do it," said Williams.

Melvin came back to Owl when he was finished with the drawing. "What now?"

After some time, the sound of having from outside the storage room ceased; it seemed the group was finally alone in the factory.

Tabitha carefully pushed the steel door open a bit wider, peeking out to make sure there were no stragglers still inside. When she was sure it was safe, she looked back at the others before stepping outside. "Let's go find Owl," she said. "I wanna see what opening this Multiplex portal looks like exactly."

"Lay her down in it. Her head right in the middle."

Barrett stepped out after Tabitha. “Right be’ind yer.”

“This way Con.” Shepherd said, as he followed along too.

Callan wasn’t in a rush to go to the Multiplex, he lingered at the back.

"Right, let's get moving, " said Williams as headed out.

"We're coming to meet up with you and Mel," Waffle told Owl. He glanced back at Theodore. He didn't know how to feel about just leaving him there.

Good, becaise I need that coin back.

Melvin nodded. He grabbed ahold of Florence's body pulling her into the center of the sigil and placing her head in the middle, as Owl instructed.

Nash glanced first at Theodore, and then at Waffle as they started to leave. He looked like he wanted to say something, but ultimately remained quiet, instead resorting to giving Waffle a sad look.

Tabitha made her way through the factory until she came to the empty room where Owl and Melvin were. She curiously took in the sight of the sigil on the floor, pausing when she saw Florence's body in the center of it.

“They burn folks fer this back ‘ome.” Barrett casually commented as they entered the room with the sigil on the floor.

Shepherd and Callan knew better than to interrupt.

((Might be slow tonight. Feeling a bit under the weather. ))

Waffle threw a tarp over Theodore.
"May you find peace wherever you go," he said softly before running after the others.

Flor adjusted her glasses when they found Owl and Melvin.

Williams frowned at the sigil.
"Got the coin," said Waffle.

"Hold onto it for now," Owl said to Waffle, almost an afterthought. He sucked in a breath, sand snapped his fingers, causing some parts of the sigil on the floor to begin to burn. The burning traced the chalk lines like a fuse, and smelled like someone was cooking liver. The speed seemed to be related to how slowly Owl moved the balled fist of his left hand and the pinching movenent of his right around each other.
