  • I’ve never had a crush on a celebrity. I notice when ones are attractive but I never have that obsessive longing for anyone.

  • I didn’t have my first crush until high school. He sort of looked like a biracial version of a teenage Nick Jonas. I have horrible anxiety so I never had the courage to talk to him. He did complement me a few times, maybe if I wasn’t a mess we could at least been friends. Despite the similarities, I never had a crush on Nick Jonas.

  • Other media, I had a crush on Knuckles from Sonic Adventure 2 when I was a kid. Tho I am not really a furry. I think I liked him because he was a grump.

As long as I can remember

Celebrity: Hayden Christensen

Real life: A kid named Hunter in my elementary school

Other media: … Anakin Skywalker!? lol idk

Real life...a girl named "Julie". Handed her some flowers in front of her friends. She slapped me and run away from embarrassment. I was 8 years old lol

Movie... Anjanette Abayari... she played Darna back in the 1990s... she's in her 50s now...

Comic... Rogue from X men...

Real life? It was in Kindergarten, a blonde girl named Elizabeth. Most of my crushes have either been real life or occasionally a video game character.

The first cartoon I had a crush on I think it was misty from pokemon ..... I don't remember exactly... I know it's silly but I was a kid lol

-movie Isabelle Adjani
-comic Lady Death (Chaos Comics)
-music Kate Bush

my first crush was in 6th grade and when my friend found out, she literally yelled across the hallway "Hey M*****, she likes you!"

We are not friends anymore.

My first anime crush was Howl from Howl's Moving Castle!

Real life: My friend Aiden. It was 1984. The crush came to a boil on 30 Decemeber. I had just turned thirteen on Boxing Day and was spending the night at his house. He had suspected that I was attracted to him and admitted that he felt the same way. We snuggled and talked the whole night (we did nothing more than snuggle). I was on top of the world. Then, the very next evening, New Year's, a tragedy struck that drove us apart forever. This whole thing actually makes up the first part of Wild Nights, Hot and Crazy Days.

Movie/Celebrity: I'd have to say Chris Reeves as Superman. I was just figuring out that I was into dudes and he filled out his super suit quite nicely.

Comic/Cartoon: Would probably be a tie between Lion-o from the Thundercats and He-Man. Archie Andrews would have been on the list as well.

Music/Band: The 1980's were a glorious time to be a young gay kid when it came to music. The tight jeans, spandex pants, leather & studs, big hair... it was a veritable dog's breakfast of visual stimulation, and best of all, the music videos were usually polluted with hot chicks as well so I didn't even have to pretend to not find the videos hot. I only had to pretend the reasons I found them hot.

Real life: When I was in 2nd grade I had a crush on this boy who had, I think, albinism. All I know is he was the only Asian with blonde hair in our school. There were rumors that his mother cheated on his father with a white man but doctors says otherwise. Then they moved away.

Movie/show: Had huge crush on Jennette McCurdy. Now I'm just a fan of her work. She's an author and I think a filmmaker now. She's just as cool as she was in iCarly.

Comic: When I was in High school I read this manga called Happy Sugar Life, had a huge crush on Satou Matsuzaka. She was EEEVIL and cute. She also made me questioned life for the longest time too, I literally got depressed for two weeks because of the anime too. Haha!

@abigaillmartin I also liked Anakin as a kid lmao but I think my actual crush was so much random it was Ponyo’s dad :sob: So that’s my other media one

I didn’t and still don’t care about celebrities as much

Real life crush? Probably in 1st grade, this kid named Danish but it was pronounced Daneesh but I was stupid and thought it was just Danish so I called him that but I think my accent was so strong it sounded normal lol. We exchanged a lot of books together, I probably still have one of the books in storage somewhere :hushed:!?? Maybe idk

Real Life: boy named Casey, sixth grade
Celeb: Johnny Depp, specifically Jack Sparrow (i was 13)
Book: that guy from Monte Cristo, maybe? read it in high school.

current(icon): ...hot colonel from KFC

Real life: my friend and "battle buddy" I grew up with. My mom crewed on a racing yacht where his dad was the captain, and we naturally sailed together in smaller boats as well as lil' babies. I still remember how his blond hair would stand out against his tanned skin in the middle of summer (it was the same as his dad's, and his dad scared the absolute piss out of me, so I was always really conflicted about seeing that stark contrast. Because on the one hand, it was part of my friend/crush, but on the other it reminded me of his absolute demon of a father).

Uhhh...

Movie crush: Sinbad from the Adventures of Sinbad TV show from the 90's, if anyone remembers. I think there were also a lot of seXXXy femme fatale villainesses that would try and get in his way (and almost win) and I think that's when I figured out some life goals. ORRRR the main character from the 1946 movie adapting Jules Verne's Dick Sand, A Captain at Fifteen. Not sure which came first.

...Evidently, 7-year-old me was very conscientious about keeping to a nautical theme (I did not realize his name was WHAT?!).

Hmm, my first book crush I'm not sure I can remember. Unreasonably I had a crush on the fire guy from Mario when I was like 4 or 5 years old, just because I thought thinking something or someone looked cool meant you had a crush on them lol/

My first real life crush was one of my older brother's friends. Not sure I've ever had a movie crush, either lol. But I've had an anime crush on Brad Hunter from "Zoids: New Century Zero." And I think I had one on Atlas from the old Astroboy show too when I was little.

I've had several celebrity crushes though, including, but not limited to Josh Dun of TOP, and Yoon Jeonghan of SVT. They've both probably influenced my characters lol. I know I've based one of my male leads (aesthetically) off of Jeonghan, and I think the drummers that I write in my stories with bands are often mildly inspired by Josh Dun.

  • An upperclassmen with long dark hair who was drawing under a tree in a school yard. His smile was criminally cute. He graduated that year and I saw him one time a year or two later after that, when he barged in to greet our chemistry teacher and we had a lesson. He got a few piercings, it looked great. My bff who was my deskmate said I was red as a tomato when I saw him lol.

  • Heath Ledger in 10 reasons I hate about you. Long dark hair and criminally cute smile, and the attitude. Yeee.

  • Taxedo Mask/Mamoru Chiba in Sailor Moon. I was a huge huge SM fan, nuff said

HECK YEAH!! TUXEDO MASK!! 🥺🥺🥺:sparkles:

(My mind is the key that sets me free)
