The younger sister of my best friend follows my comic, and she recently told me that I inspired her to start seriously working on her own She said I was the first person she knew who had ever just attacked a project like this and just "done it" and seeing me do it helped her realize it was possible for her. My heart kind of exploded that day.

I get amazing subs who comment that they read everything in one sitting.

Sometimes, my phone will buzz every few minutes of a new sub who likes each chapter as they finish. I find myself cheering them on when they finish a chapter because I know they'll come to a spicy one soon XD Then after 45 minutes or so when they've caught up (I have 26 episodes so far), I feel sad when they have to wait until the next one!

Overall every comment makes me happy, especally when it is regarding theries of what can happen. But my biggest one I got flipping fan art from @Kajaysee. Fan art of your own stuff is nothing but heart warming.

I honestly want to do this to others, but I get way to insecure about whether my art is not capturing or is degrading their work. Its stupid

I just get really excited whenever a fan of my work really gets into the lore and characters I've made, and expresses their enjoyment of the character arcs and reveals in the story.

Which is to say, when I think about my own story.

@rifftiff made this cute drawing of my characters in her thank you note and she also included them in her comic, It was a surprise since I was unaware of it and I read throught the full thing before I saw it.Coincidentally she used my favorite colour too.

I had some surprise fan art last week which was really nice.

I used to be on Smack Jeeves too, but got so busy with Uni and life etc. so I took a really long break. When I finally logged back in again I had so many messages and comments from people asking if I was ok and encouraging me to continue. I never expected that, and there were about six years worth of comments to go through.

It gave me the motivation to start again.

There were these really nice comments on a topic I posted a couple days ago when I asked people to review my novel and tell me what I could do better, instead a lot of people told me that I was doing well and it motivated me to begin the next season of my story.

I say that one wholesome moment was when a reader went onto my comic to find the Tapas Mascot before realizing that it wasn't there anymore; it was a little funny, but did start a small talk in the comments

Though, having someone like all your pages then subscribe is nice as well

Just having my fans interact with me on my comic's discord channel makes me feel happy. Oh and all the entries into my fan art contest so far have put me over the moon.

Jumping onto Charlotte's comment here, Charlotte recommended me for community picks and I made it in to the feature last week.

I was so surprised that somebody appreciated my comic enough to nominate me. It gave me a big confidence boost, as my series wasn't gaining any momentum at the time. It's the first time that my artwork was featured on the front page of any website I've used and it feels great that there are people who find my work entertaining.

Mine wasn't on here but at a convention a few years ago. I use to be a fairly well known Dragonball Z author in the fanfic community and I had someone actually track me down at the artist Alley to tell me how much they loved the climax I posted the week before. they saw in my profile I was in the same province and saw I was going to the same con and with my profile picture found me. not terribly creepy just a happy happenstance We still talk sometimes
