Why do you make comics?

I didn't start to develop an obsession for comics until I started making my own. I would always monologue to myself if certain points in the story were feasible or verify information. This happens mostly in my head but, sometimes I talk to myself out loud when no one is around.

I have so many ideas that swim in my mind and outside sources inspiring me as well. To make it worse I have dreams with interesting premises that flaunt their ideas in my head.

I started Wade because I was inspired by humor. Comedy is one of my all-time-favorite things. I've always wanted to make others laugh and to entertain them.

Humor is important in life, its good to crack a smile every once in a while.

I started in writing, and I would always design my characters on paper. So I thought... comics are just the next logical step.

Once I actually started though, I thought I could make something like the pros do, on day one.
Nope. Not even close.

Then I got better and thought, maybe I could work my butt off and get some subscribers?
Even that didn't work.

So then it all boiled down to getting better and making something I personally enjoyed, rather than trying to please anyone.

That much is true, you shouldn't content just to please other, it is an empty venture. If you make content that you enjoy people will see that you put your heart in it so they are more likely to read it.

That's a reason to make comics. It doesn't have to be deep. As long as you know why I thinks its fine to create comics.

its the best format to tell people the imagery of how the story concludes in that particular matter. if you're trying to build an image for other people, fiction is the best option to tell the story.

I just want to give others a different perspective and move them, emotionally and intellectually.

Because it's an awful lot of fun.
My favourite thing to do is drawing. And I like to tell stories with drawings. So it kind of had to happen in the end.
There is also a lot of things I want to tell that is really hard to put into words. And some things people just wont listen to at all. So comics is really a perfect medium for me to work with.
It sometimes make me look insane. But then again this world can be a pretty insane place in general.

You're reasons for making comics is almost the same as mine. Except for the different perspective part.I want to entertain people and evoke other emotions with my art. It's a good feeling when someone emotional reacts to my comic.

I agree making comics are fun and seeing your ideas come to life is a wonderful feeling. Comics also a great medium for me to express myself as well.

Who was the main creator or creation that really inspired you to start making comics?

Comics was my first love, honestly. It's probably the one medium that I can use to communicate thoughts and feelings and concepts in a way that wouldn't be properly expressed through other means. Comics mean a lot to me, it's helped me many times throughout my life (as cliched as that sounds!)

Well back in 2004 my mom got my brother and I our first Shonen Jump magazine. When I looked it I was amazed at the level detail put in each panel. I did watch anime such as Naruto, Rave Master and such before reading my first manga. Those anime and especially the manga inspired me to make my own story. It wasn't until 2006 that I made my first comic, in all honesty the comic was a great stepping stone for me but the story was so cliched and it execution was also cliche. (Blue Exorcist would somewhat be the equivalent to my first comic but, less cliche )
