Yeah there are days where I feel like my art is trash. But on those days, I've found it doubly important to keep pushing. I've gotten some nice compliments about my art on those days, and I'm glad I pushed myself.
I rarely stop drawing, even on rough days, I'll doodle at least something. That's how I keep my confidence, by pushing on. The only time I stop drawing is if I'm sick and literally cannot.
Always be aware, that not everything will come out perfect, even if you've practiced a lot. Sometimes failure is the best teacher.
Even if your art isn't where you want it, I say: Start where you're at, and you'll keep growing. And when I hear that there's not enough time...I say, take five minutes, even two, and doodle something. It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be something. Growth doesn't always come from huge leaps, baby steps are just as important.
