Why is there no inksgiving this year?

I’ve been able to participate in inksgiving once and it was so much fun! I was looking forward for it this year again, only to find out there is no inksgiving this year.
Does anyone know why that is?

Because Tapas has decided that it cares so little about “community” creators that they wouldn’t even throw us those crumbs anymore. They made it harder to earn ink, they’ve hidden community content from the main page, and they’ve now cancelled Inksgiving.

The community has been hosting an event to kinda hold everyone over until next inksgiving. It’s called Inkter. The specifics of what this event is are found at the beginning episode.

From what I've been reading on the Tapas Discord, it looks like they're going to do a similar event on Valentine's Day or Easter, though that's not confirmed yet.
