I'm not saying religion is bad and should be erased, but throughout history people have always weaponize words and people's beliefs against them. Perhaps looking inside might bring some peace to your mind. The world was and is still drowned in fears and pain but know everyone has a role in this cruel world. The best a lot of us can do is acknowledge that there is something wrong and lend at least one helping hand to those who need it the most.

The problem is looking at if from a perspective. For most of history, until the very recent, almost everyone's lives sucked compared to even the poorest in a modern first world country. Yes woman suffered as did kids. But men just had different problems. Women didn't get forced to go to war. Most manual labor was by men, with a much higher chance of injury in which there was no cure/fix for. Life was hard for literally everyone not a royal. Even the rich could be killed or banished. Most died in the 50s (the average life span of 30s is a misunderstanding of averages), a lot of woman died in childbirth, A LOT of children died before the age of 5, and men were disfigured or injured then forgotten to die penniless. If you went into debt they could imprison you or worst, sell you into basically slavery. If you did something stupid young, your entire life could be ruined. There was almost zero forgiveness. Life was literally hard for everyone.

First off, you have to remember that a lot of myths and human history are written and rewritten to boost the male ego. I remember hearing a story once where a group of priests were offended by the success of nuns in converting people to their faith. Instead of praising their devotion, they rewrote the rules to put nuns under them in the hierarchy. A lot of modern culture praises putting down women or pitting women against each other for validation. Women are reactionary, so putting down women ultimately hurts everyone. The popular quote "Well-behaved women seldom make history" was not meant to be a rallying cry for women to misbehave in public, but rather an acknowledgement that most women's contributions will be overlooked. Women and children DID suffer throughout history, but men did as well. "Othering" any group will never fix anything.

Secondly, if your goal is to write positive female stories, then write a female story. Write her as a person experiencing the world through a female perspective. She could be a gunslinger on a ship of outlaws, but still likes to cook and is planning a family with her husband. She can be quiet and devout. She can be anything you'd like her to be, but write her to be human.

Literally everything you said here is wrong. White people killed each other nicely in Europe against other white people, and the black and brown killed each other before whitey showed up. Indians in America killed each other no problem also before whites showed up. The ottoman empire was not a peaceful place before the British cut it up (for a reason blw, they lost a war. Whenever women are perceived as gaining more power (representation, autonomy, etc), certain segments of male society see that as a loss for themselves. They perhaps feel like they are at the bottom of the social strata, but as long as women (or indeed, other races) are lower than them on the social hierarchy, they at least have that to console them.

Once women start gaining access to equal rights and freedoms, then their own (perceived) inadequacies are made more obvious, so they lash out. And since society (unfortunately) seems to reward people who shout the loudest, regardless of their credentials, they end up defining and controlling the narrative, while everyone else winds up in reactive mode.

Men through out history disliked women and saw them as lesser. Even today, there are men who still think like that.

1) this is one of them non cannon biblical stories- its neat but it wouldnt be considered something youd read as a ligit text. 5) again dont know this story too well but it def feels more of a story about "dont make promises you cant keep" conidering he made his vow out of... seemingly stupid randomness- a story trope im not a fan of- but if you look into it the ending seems to be up for inturprtation on how he went about dealing with his promise which is very intresting. In a lot of cultures and stories you might not burn a person so to speak but burn their name or objects that are very dear to them as "sacrafies" it can be very spiritual in this way

you are looking at stories FROM MULIPLE CULTURES that are ment to be used as either lessons of shit like hospitality or pomisses cept and saying "the world hates women" ignoring the cultures these stories come from have a) multple interpretations and b) have OTHER STORIES that tend to represent badass women hood (again we point to athena). This is like saying "Meg from family guy gets builled so the world hates women" like are you 5? theres more to a story and character than what the fuck gender they are. stories are about trying to teach people how to exsist in socciaty better and at what lenths you should be a good host before that shit goes too far- and heres the real kicker- sometimes your not even really MEANT to agree with the outcome, sometimes the story is there to remind you of the other opinion.
