walks in to the trash fire right
So...... no? like sorry not sorry but stfu?
1) this is one of them non cannon biblical stories- its neat but it wouldnt be considered something youd read as a ligit text. Im also just completely werided out that we are discribing this as "against women" when its just a story about breeding with angels and it being considered wrong which TRUST ME we dont wanna go down the road of "is breeding with angels bestiality" yall clearly not ready for that conversation
2) so like what? everything is wrong here. St, valentine was roman? so... no? also spartians... like... you realize they REVEARED women more than any other greek population? women could own houses and shit- "wanting to be a women" would have been natural and also men DID prtend to be women to "help" younger men learn how to have sex with women and during the wedding night women would even dress as men to help the "transition" period, (tho admitedly with a mondern look this might have been more of a grooming culture but it is what it is) anyways no.
3) not a huge fan of the solomon stroy but the quote more so has to do with integrity, something he found rare in men and nonesistant in women. Is that rude? sure? but its not like hes saying that men are all rigious beings either. he def throwing shade at everyone just women a little bit more but idk i also dont care much for that particular story.
4) not familiar with lot aside from his wife turning to salt, This was def during the "god is a drunken alcholioc" phase of the bible, but from my understanding this is a similar issue with the odysseus story where back in the day apeasing your guest is a >SCARED< thing. something a fully disagree with as a introvert, idk what happens in this story but in the odysseus one he comes back after the suitors annoy his wife and rape his servants and murders them all so you can read that story instead if its more down your alley of correct justice and punishment
5) again dont know this story too well but it def feels more of a story about "dont make promises you cant keep" conidering he made his vow out of... seemingly stupid randomness- a story trope im not a fan of- but if you look into it the ending seems to be up for inturprtation on how he went about dealing with his promise which is very intresting. In a lot of cultures and stories you might not burn a person so to speak but burn their name or objects that are very dear to them as "sacrafies" it can be very spiritual in this way
6) this feels like the first correct thing youve said and YES god did do this- this again was during his angry drunken years but its important to remember that this was also immediatly after the fact that his children ate the one thing he told them not to eat- (they couldnt actually make babies or anything before this moment mind you) so i guess this was part of his punishment. Do i agree? no. But I also killed my sims for no reason just cause so... idk Gods a fuckin weirdo and a drunken alcholic.
7) Bro just say medusa! you trolling? Feels weird to do this "world against women" thing when it was the woman who cursed her for being shit at her job- for real tho this is one of those "many interpretations" kind of stories so hard to say 100% if posiden raped her or if she chosed to fuck in the temple she wasnt suposed to desicrate- hard to say with the greek stuff cause theyre a bit all over the place with their god retellings- its like trying to pin down the "correct" version of superman or batman when they have a bout 50 diffrent itterations. Athena seems to both hate her and want to protect her but also helped in he being beheaded so really it just kind of depends on if your an Athena stand or not.
8) yes cults are bad- weve also had muiltple cults in history that ask people to drink the coolaid... like.. yeah? you tripping? dont join cults- they are not good people.
THE ANSWER:
you are looking at stories FROM MULIPLE CULTURES that are ment to be used as either lessons of shit like hospitality or pomisses cept and saying "the world hates women" ignoring the cultures these stories come from have a) multple interpretations and b) have OTHER STORIES that tend to represent badass women hood (again we point to athena). This is like saying "Meg from family guy gets builled so the world hates women" like are you 5? theres more to a story and character than what the fuck gender they are. stories are about trying to teach people how to exsist in socciaty better and at what lenths you should be a good host before that shit goes too far- and heres the real kicker- sometimes your not even really MEANT to agree with the outcome, sometimes the story is there to remind you of the other opinion.
Just no. Come back with a better fucking Theses and/or bullet points or dont come back at all. holy shit.
Now... who wants to learn about why Set hates lettuce?
