Why the golden star beside my series name disappeared?

It did not disapear but it became white,
Any ideas why????

The star just means the series you favorited on your dashboard. So if you have more than one series, you'll see that series first on the top. You likely just accidentally unfavorited, whether clicking on the star or uploaded a new series and the system "favorited" the new title, which you can change (you can only have one series starred, unless Premium, then you can one starred premium title and one starred Community)

The star next to the series marks if it is your main series. You can see here that Frostpeak West is my main series while the others don't have it. If you hover over it, it will say "Set as main series". Main series always appear at the top and you are only allowed to have one series set as your main series.

Not sure why, but the star disappears for me whenever I schedule a mature chapter. I'm able to mark it as my main series again later. Sometimes as soon as an hour, sometimes as long as a day.

It probably disappears because scheduling an M chapter shadowbans your work from being seen for a day
