Women are exploited in society, I mean just look at the music videos with half naked women for example

And answer this, don't you think a time will have to come where a woman can't just disrespect a man just because she is pissed off that he isn't a chad and he tried to initiate a conversation with her anyway?

So in a nutshell shouldn't we all try to bring about a time when men are no longer able to exploit women and women are no longer able to disrespect men just based on a whim or simply because they feel like it?

Humans gonna human. Some people somewhere will always be learning about respect and power differences in that obvious way. Exploitation will always exist as long as there is life.

Just make sure that you don't feel entitled - to respect or to material things. Humility is the virtue that can bring someone peace in this situation.

It's hard to even give a response with how shallow the framing is here. It's to the point where it's almost not worth answering. Why you equate exploitation with general disrespect is beyond me.

While the general expectation of women in media is to wear many hats of being modest nurturers, sexual beings, etc., it's shortsighted to assume that any woman in a music video being scantily clad means she was exploited. Especially for women who head their own music careers, there comes a lot of agency in choosing to show up dressed in a way that many people will clutch their pearls at. Even videos vixens, specifically well-known ones, of the 90's and early 2000's had a lot of agency and power in deciding what video they showed up in and what their pay rates were. That doesn't speak to the whole. Like you've mentioned, plenty of young women where exploited in those spaces as well.

Well saying that she can't implies that some type of enforcement must be instituted to the contrary. Like an outside force is preventing her from doing as she pleases. I hope we never come to a day like that. Next, any person of any gender as every right to react how they so choose to being approached by someone they deem unattractive. Now, the consequences of those reactions are a separate issue. Lastly, a random man cat-calling a woman and nothing happening is far more likely than a woman having outwardly negative reaction after being approached. That's because of the danger aspect and women being socialized to placate anger or advance rather than relay abrasive denial.

There's far more work for society to do about patriarchy, but I highly doubt that's going to change anytime soon. And it certainly won't be changed by women further giving men the benefit of the doubt to circumvent a blow to their egos.

There will never be a time where people don't disrespect eachother sometimes, irrespective of gender. There'll always be someone having a bad day who curses out a cashier or someone who cut them off in traffic because some people are kind of arseholes.

Women don't disrespect men because they're "not chad", that's bullshit. They disrespect them for many reasons, some are the same as why men disrespect men/women.

Also let's not equate exploitation and oppression with simple disrespect, not to mention that men disrespect women all the time, and that's usually one base of exploitation. You are not respecting someone if you are exploiting them.

This might be an eye-opener for you because you seem to not grasp the difference of level of problem there is:
Researchers asked men what they were most afraid of when interacting with women. The men generally answered that they were scared the women would laugh at them or make fun of them. Somewhat similar to your "disrespect" story, right? The worst thing a woman could do to a man in his mind is belittle him?
When the researchers asked the same question to women, they said "we're scared they'll kill us."

If the worst thing you're scared of is being called names or being laughed at, sure, that sucks buddy, but can we maybe deal with the death toll first?

Former woman and current man speaking: What is a “Chad”? The ultra ripped douchebag archetype I always see men complain that they aren’t isn’t what I was into to when I was girl, nor is it what any of my female friends see as attractive. Women, like men and everyone else, value kindness and respect in a partner before they value what their body looks like, and their ideals for bodies are waaaay different than men’s ideals of male beauty (Straight men seem to be the origin of the “chad” archetype being considered masculine perfection in modern society, for reasons I cannot fathom, but that ideal has very little overlap with what women want in a man if they even want a man).
A time when women aren’t systematically exploited is gonna happen, just look at all the progress we’ve made (even though sometimes it’s a two steps forward one step back deal, ie abortion in the US), but this disrespect you discuss is… just not a thing that happens. Women get pissed when men initiate conversations that are clearly disrespectful to them regardless of what the person trying to ask them out looks like. What are the topics of conversation you are trying to speak to women with? If you’re always receiving hostility, it’s more than likely the words, not your appearance.
P.S. I can think of waaaaay better examples of female oppression than music videos, why was that your first choice? When’s the last time you asked a women for her thoughts on this stuff?

2) the beliefs you're spouting are from online incel culture, that propagates a distrust, dehumanisation and in extreme pure hatred of women. Let me put a couple corrections...

1) Chad can either be a good guy or a bad guy. As long as he's attractive, his personality is irrelevant.

2) incels... are a diverse group of people not just white males. In fact, at least half of them are Asian (east, south, southeast) males.

This, so much. Its so interesting, how we see all those "perfect"looking couples on the news, magazines, social media etc. But in real live, you just see normal people living their lifes togerher. I'm not much into wacky theories but I think, this "be perfect" narrative gets pushed so more product can be sold. "Here a shaver for your ugly leghair", "here our product, use it everyday or else you are ugly". But the looks dont make personality! Getting off the internet bubble and touching some gras, helps a ton!

I have a nice example regarding the "respect" topic. Because I "disrespected" a guy, who wantet to talk to me and my sis. But the guy just didn't seem to get, that me and her were talking about private stuff regarding her trauma and had no interest in talking to strangers... But he kept trying to get into our conversation, until I had to shoo him away. He probably thought, I was an ass, but I'd do it again.

I mean, yes, try and start a conversation. I actually like talking to people, I don't know, but leave them in peace, when they don't want to talk.

Other than that, I think it's weard, everything has to be a competition with gender. "Gender x is smarter", "gender x has more assholes"... No, we should stopp with this crap and just see individuals with their unic experiences.
