I kinda did this when I moved my comics to a webcomic format. Originally it was a black and white traditional, but I wanted to take advantage of the scrolling of a webcomics so I started over.

I already did it this year. After a 5 years hiatus I decided to adjust a bit drawings and panels to be more eye-catching

Errant is hopefully the last version of FanDanGo/Fan Dan Go/Errant. It's the fourth one. I feel like this time I got it right. I want to finish this, get these characters that have haunted me for twenty years out of my system finally and move on with my life.

I'm polishing up past chapters due to the wonky speech bubbles but for the most part. I feel I need to move forward. Hawk and Flo Adventures so far has been pretty well liked (mostly).

On one hand I like that if shows my progress as an artist, but on the other hand I eventually want to print/publish so I think I have to at some point.

My current comic, no way. I'm already expecting it to take several years to finish, why would I want to do that twice?

I have considered redrawing some of my short comics (technically I already have redone one of them), though lack of time means it's not likely to happen any time soon.

I've often thought about this, and have a pretty good idea of what I'd want to do for a remake, which I've talk about on here before, so I won't go into too much detail.

But basiccly, updated art, more of TV show format (so many episodes), an identical, but more fleshed out version of the story, etc. However, I'll state that IF I do this, it will be ATLEAST one year after this version of the comic is complete, and the ONLY (comic) remake of it EVER!

I wasn't sure if I should count it as a remake, but yeah—my comic was originally intended to be an animated series, so I wouldn't mind if that were to happen someday. But I would probably have to pitch it to a studio for that and I have no idea how that works, haha.

I’d probably not remake anything because I’ve learned overtime that I can learn from my works that have been done. I think there’s value in not touching a work. Unless if you really wanted to polish it up after many years then I can see why.

I don’t plan on remaking any of my stories in the future because I have many other stories and stuff I probably want to do. But I am planning on spin offs of Cracking Eggs and it’ll be about a younger Wellington and the origin of The Egg Washers.

Definitely, in the future! The annoying thing about making a story based on a game where lore is scarce is that new things that are revealed end up disproving theories. This ended up happening with my very first rendition of my comic, which was called The End at the time. Basically everything I had made (16 fully colored and shaded pages -_-) was disproved by a lore drop and I had to redo the entire story I had planned out. To be fair, the whole comic was pretty funky and stylistically inconsistent, but it still really sucks that I had to redo the whole thing lol.
Anyway, the beginning of my comic right now is still kind of not correct according to the lore. I might go into specific pages and fix those to make them accurate to the lore, but it's more likely that I just fix the entire thing because the beginning I have right now is pretty cliche and not that compelling lol.

It's something for me to think about. I can already see the difference in my art now than when I just started my comic. But I probably wouldn't because of how much work that would be. I've already spent years working on my comic and I have so many ideas and stories I want to work on in the future that I don't even want to think about remaking it lol My answer might change someday though

Yes. But not because the first time was bad. My first series was actually pretty well received. The remake will instead be a continuation of the original.

I am writing for the first time so it may not be the best so I´ll review my story once I have finished writing and make it a story that I can be proud of.

I'm actually in the works of rebooting my 1st webtoon. I know rewriting and rebooting is somewhat taboo, but I didn't realize how convoluted it was until I was 7 chapters in. There were 6 main characters with lengthy backstories in a story about struggling with college, family and social life AND rediscovering their powers and past as deities AND it took place on two separate fantasy worlds meaning I have to explain so many rules. It was a mess.

I'm splitting them into 2 separate stories: One is a slice of life college romance, The other being about the gods in a fantasy world. I want to release them at the same time, but I think its better to focus on the college romance since the latter might be too niche to gain an audience on its own.

Right at the moment I have definitely not such a thought esp how my comic has been performing so far, BUT there definitely is a few possibilities for spin-offs of other characters within the story

I've already rebooted it once, ~40 pages into my original story. It was a lot of work but I'm very happy with where it's at now.
The most I would go back to remake is maybe redo parts of the intro to make it more unique, but that's on the bottom of my todo list
