Wondering how the views work

How do the views work?
is it one view per person per series
or is it one view per chapter?
also do re reads by the same person count?
and are my own views also included?

It's one per chapter

Re-reads count to some degree I know. I have some people who binge read after reading weekly. so when the entire chapter's out, they go back and binge read 10 chapters at once so I'll hit 10views from each episode read by them. It's also per 24hrs, and your Dashboard has a delay to recognizing them.

I've also been wondering, especially since the last update, does a creator's views of their own work count? I've been seeing my first chapter more often since the dashboard now links to the first chapter (it's the link without the /info at the end). I don't want to artificially inflate views, but that's how I used to see the total number of views for my novels. The stats page only gives you a month by month or by-episode count.

It counts. I sometimes accidentally clicked on my own chapter and it's counted on the view everytime.
