I have a couple of western artists that are a big inspiration to me! Usually though, I get influences by different animated movies and shows, which follow more of a general style guide than one artist's style, lol.
However, some of the artists I really dig are Matt Rhodes, creator of the story project Tellurion:
Swedish artist Fabian Gƶransson also has some amazingly expressive art:
Karl Johnsson gave me some of the best art tips during a comic making workshop a few months before I started my own comic, so I really look up to him:
For animated styles that have influenced me, Steven Universe is really up there. Dreamworks' 2D movies such as The prince of Egypt, and Disney movies from that "end of 20th/beginning of 21st century" era as well! There's just something about them that I really like, maybe something with the early emergence of 3D tech to use in tandem with 2D animation?
(I also gotta give a shoutout to ONE, creator of Mob Psycho 100, even though he's japanese. He's just that influential to my style LOL)
Also here's my comic!
