I have been in Tapas since the end of July, i guess, but i just started my comic this monday. I have been on fresh and got 11 subs
Some of my subscribers really love my comic, and that makes me very happy.

The writing is going well, i`m very inspired and have a lot planned for my comic.

I recently finished planning my book series, as in a multi-book arc which has smaller arcs inside it. I've planned each and every chapter of volume one and now I'm going to finish up writing chapter 3 and then rewrite chapters 1 and 2 of Darcy Sparrow very soon. Trying to make things as cohesive as possible. How is everyone else?

I've been on tapas as a reader for awhile after my friend told me where to find her comic. I actually started posting my story, Enchantress, here at her suggestion. There's only a few sites that I know of to post original fiction and tapas is the place where I've had the largest audience. I've been on the new and noteworthy page in the past but I think what really helps me out is posting on a regular basis.

I haven't really been noticed. Part of me thinks that mostly has to do with only uploading a short story each month. Well I think I have to believe that or I'm gonna just start thinking my writing is crap ><
I got some new subs so that's great though to be fair half are friends and family. Though I'm still ridiculously happy that they took the time to read my writing and sign up for me and everything
Sooo umm yeah my writing is going well enough...but I'm admittedly hoping my stories are noticed more

Hi! I joined Tapas a looong time ago, but wasn't till just tonight I decided to freshen up my first chapter of something I've been working on for years and publish it in here! There was like an invigorating awakening from my writers block, very suddenly, and goddamnit I went for it!

That's awesome you got staff picked! I'm sorry to hear that some people discouraged you. Even though they said those things, you should keep trying.

I know it's hard to write when you feel discouraged. Barely anyone reads my stories on here, so that discourages me from writing, but all I can do is keep trying.

I'm sorry to hear you lost some subs. I lost some subs, too, but I gained some new ones rather quickly.

I feel most, if not all, writers want to be noticed for their work. Keep trying though and see what happens. I think the rule is five years. If after five years you don't get noticed, then maybe it's time to consider quitting.

I got onto the new and noteworthy list for my writing. I feel like my writing has improved dramatically. I'm ambivalent about traditional publishing because I feel my writing isn't pop/mainstream enough.
