Ello!

I'm working on a high urban fantasy novel called Flight of Fantasy. The novels in the series don't have names, they're actually labeled by volume number.

This is the flat plot.

Damiano Bello just wants the semester to end. Summer is a time for exploration and fun but making plans will have to wait. Something is stirring beneath the surface in his hometown and memories resurface that he hoped would be buried forever. But when his past comes back to haunt him, and the ghosts walk the streets of his city, does he turn a blind eye or hunt them down?

For right now, waiting for my next SF story. I used to write about dystopian setting after a nuclear war. Weirdly timely now. But these days I seem to have a hankering for children's stories.

I'm new here on Tapas, and I'm writing an urban fantasy about a college kid being inducted into a race of spiritual guardians.
I also have concepts ranging from an adventure through parallel universes, the devil's son being kicked out of hell, Jack the Ripper using a school girl as a vessel, and a fourth-wall breaking chaos mage trying to survive high school.
In case you can't tell, I'm kind of crazy!

I am currently writting a fantasy and a science fantasy story. My plan is to join the two at some point, have the fantasy story progress until it becomes science fantasy... soo lots and lots of books already planned...

I also got another book coming along as a side project, describing the war of my science fantasy book from the perspective of the enemy.

I'm working on a dystopian novel set within the next year, about where everything is considered contraband not approved by dictator in chief and company. Also about sneaker net (that's physically taking devices to another computer) and how it effects privacy.

But also reposting some older stories, especially children's stories.

I'm working on a series of 30 short stories within the framework that each story is original. Then whichever of those stories is most popular, I usually post that on Tapastic. Then I expand that short story into a series. My current most popular is called Dead End Florals, which I'm finishing the second arc of right now. Once I get three arcs I was planning on releasing it as a lite novel. It's at about 20k right now. Slow and steady building it up.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I think it's important to have a 'plan' -- tentative as it is to go on if things are going well. I'm also looking to make a short comic with a few artists to maybe have something small I could make into a 30 second animation as a promo for the lite novel. I'm always full of ideas.

I look at outlining differently from either complete pantsers or plotters; with dreamers or architexts.

I had to learn to be a story architext before I could be a dreamer.

Hope that helps. Outlining is training wheels. It's really good to start the writing process, but after a while, you got to let the story tell itself.

I'm writing a slice of life, romance story called At The Wrong Time. I am not a very good writer but I do love describing the living crap out of stuff. So I decided to try my hand at writing a novel of sorts. To be honest, I have over 20 stories in my mind. But I am currently only working on 2 or 3 of them right now. I hope one day I can make all 20 of them and maybe even more.

OK given as it's half way done at 30,558 words, a quick summary:

In a world where remote viewing, social blackmail, and spy tech are ubiquitous, a computer hacker and a painter escape capture from an underground military facility, and work toward preventing their recapture. The painter has a third eye, and briefly experiences alien posession.

I'll have to see how this plays out later.

my story exists within confines as it is a series not an actual novel. i have an 'episode' where a mystery is completed. then there's a romance running in background. also keeping it bite sized. i don't think without an outline i could write a 'series.' Dead End is more a collection of short stories than a continuous story.

I don't really understand why people post full novels on here as the audience is mainly a short attention span comic browsing audience.
