My own characters' music tastes if you're interested

Haruka, for the most part, listens to American and Japanese hardcore and metal music. Her favorite band is Heaven in Her Arms. Thought music as a concept was pretty okay until a friend recommended this band to her, then bam, she suddenly loves the concept. Outside being an officer/demon hunter, you can catch her in the pit

Her brother Mugen just likes whatever's on the radio, the standard J-Pop and J-Rock you might hear, nothing too special. He ain't picky. Well, his favorite singer is Aimer for her beautiful husky voice. She also stands out against J-Pop's tendency to have high-pitched singing.

They both love this song in particular bc it's very nice crossover of their tastes

There's reasons of course. He's an intense kind of character, and the heavy aggression present in Hardcore fits him perfectly.
The down beat driven style with lots of slam riffs and powerful drumming represents his aggro heavy hitter fighting style.

The shouted spitfire vocals mesh perfectly with his temper, he's a character that keeps his anger in check constantly, refusing to let it define him.

She picked up her music taste from Peggy, and she doesn't listen to anything heavy too, so alternative rock is her choice.

When it comes to Jekyll, he is a great admirer of Leonardo DaVinci. As for Hyde, the loves the old Greco Roman stuff and he really likes paintings with flowers. Hey, even trolls have a softer side.

Modern or revivalist Heavy Metal bands are more her speed. Shes a fast character, who takes a lot of pride in her prowess as a swordsman. Plus her ability allows her to move at the speed of lightning. Those kinds of speedy qualities are present in these "retro" Heavy Metal bands.

She enjoys fast music with warrioristic lyrics and bombastic guitar solos.

My main character is a real music lover, she play's piano since childhood and has a particulary preference for Chopin.
But even if classical is the style she prefer, she realy likes all kind of music from, jazz, to ragtime and charleston... She even enjoy to dance whit a good dance partner if she had the oportunity for.

Junior on the other hand, it has not been mentioned in the comic yet but his favourite band is the Barenaked Ladies, the songs "Pinch Me" and "Falling for the first time" are like character songs for him
