Right??!! It puts creators in such an awkward position and it's just so demeaning and it's only later they realize...."oh...OH..oh...wait.....what the fuck?"

Uhhmm like I guess I shouldn't attempt to point out the one thing wrong with your art because uhhmm you know the eyes aren't right and uhhmm like only 10 episodes isn't enough to figure out where the story is going so I planned to read more uhhm I guess I can forget it though.

Sorry, i just listened the story without context, i didn`t know who said that was you and why you said it, so i was not able to explain if the message was confusing. I admit i have jumped too far into conclusion with the "pasive agressive", so my apologies again.

Anyway, is important to choose wisely the words when it comes to feedback.

Thanks for telling me friend, now I know. bless you, Diego, for your kind soul.

@ChristodeBoyet @GGY

So it turns out it CristodeBoyet`s confusing comment wasnt an atack, he was just trying to help.

GGY I know there are people in the internet who may be mean or insulting, so is easy to get defensive with hostile comments or ambiguous ones, but is important to not let them affect you on a personal level.

And i jumped too far into conclusions before learning the full story.

The important is we should all learn from our mistakes and use them as a chance to grow up and be better as artist, writers and to be better people.

I am glad everything is clarified and hope there is not bad blood between any of us.

And this wasn't meant to slander you @ChristodeBoyet as this is a thread for your least favourite comments. I just wanted share my thoughts and feelings on the topic. Thank you @DiegoPalacios for your last sentiment.

Again, I know Chris meant well but I just didn't see it as helpful or playful or whatever they were trying to get across. (Maybe because I just don't know them as well as they know others on here...) It was a weak confusing critique. I'm sorry but that's how I feel.

I hope this clears things up a little and also doesn't bring any bad blood. I don't want to fight.

Bad blood? There isn't any of that, I won't go out my way to say bad things about you. However, there isn't just the reply I gave you in my thread, but you forcefully unsubbed me without saying a word about why. I wasn't treated fairly and I have no plans to sub back. That's on you not me.

And that was my choice and right simply out of just feeling uncomfortable. I don't have to explain further. I'm sorry you felt mis-treated.

2 months later

I got a comment on one of my stories a while back saying "Why did I read this again." with another comment about the beginning part being funny [which it was]. But the first part is so ambiguous followed by something pretty genuine.

W-were... were you not supposed to read this again, or...?

Several friends (and even my parents!) seems convinced that one of my main characters (Taren) looks like my real-life husband, when the only connection is that he they both have a stubble...

and they point it out every time, and keep telling me to "stop drawing him" and that they are tired of "seeing my husband" everywhere. -__-

but... because he is an important characters he will be around for a long time xD oh well.

thankfully I've only gotten positive comments so far, but I could see it turning annoying pretty easily if some of the stuff expressed here was written on mine

Not on here, but long time ago some guy on DA went and commented "wtf" on some of my drawings and "a lot of wtf" on my gallery. When I checked out his profile, his only purpose at that site was to comment "wtf" under drawings of gays or naked guys. I guess I just had a lot of "wtf" content... xD

i barely get comments, and the ones i got are nice and respectful

the comments i hate in general that i have seen around are the ones when someone announces the passing of something and all the comments are
"RIP :sob::sob::sob::sob::sob::sob::sob::sob::sob::sob::sob::sob:"

i donno why but it really lights my fuse, if you are going to mourn RESPECTFULLY. Don't Spam/Use F**king Emojis!!

I'm new here on Tapas, but as an artist the most annoying comments come from people with an entitled attitude. Like you OWE THEM your work. I totally appreciate when people have useful suggestions, I do want to improve. In fact I ask my subscribers what do they think. What I can't stand is people who think you are their employee and they are "editors" then you got to their pages and see they produce crap. Like, dude focus of YOUR stuff first.
Other than that I don't mind people comparing, shipping, speculating, "first comment", asking about the plot, everyone enjoys themselves differently.

Ahhh I feel better now. <3 Thanks.

1 year later

Comments saying "first" don't really bother me much. I just ignore it XD

Got a comment that says I promote bullying because there's a side character who happens to be a bully and is calling another character names. LOL

I also don't like it when they mention a diff webtoon. There's one that says they dropped another webtoon for mine, and as flattering as that sounds, they don't have to declare it at all since I don't like seeing other webtoons being treated this way (I know I wouldn't like it if somebody also says this about my webtoon in another webtoon's comment section)

Also when your characters are constantly being compared to an anime character, or another webtoon character (usually featured ones, and sometimes discover/canvas ones that I'm not familiar with). It's usually because of appearance and attitude.
This doesn't bother me much, I find it funny actually, but it gets annoying when it's being said over and over lol.

Rude and hate comments in general~ I don't understand why people have to leave these kinds of comments. It's as if they enjoy bringing others down, instead of helping creators improve.

The non-existant ones, or basically when I get zero comments on an episode :sob:. Also hate comments but I haven't gotten them so far on my current webcomic.
