I'm kinda proud how I handle shapes now
My first OC, Alice...and you'll kinda get a sense of how old I am. -___-;;
She was a character in a novel I wrote around that time. One of those half finished things that I tossed in a shoebox and forgot about over the years, but I never forgot my love of writing. I used to draw her a lot, as a kind of virtual model, but she's fallen by the wayside these days. I actually even forgot I did this update of her in '14, and she's also...aged and changed. 
I hope to oneday bring her back to my webcomic series This Mortal Coil.
I tried to do a quick drawing of her today...
Now, I feel like I have to try again and do her justice...
Wow! Reading that just makes me want to read more of your comic (even more than I already did ).
I love how you were able to keep those details on her clothing while making the style a bit more minimalistic.
Wow! What a big change! So many more amazing details, now - and his expression really fits your description of him.
Oh, wow! This is fun XD She is Sohiru, my first character. These are from the first and the actual chapter I draw. She changed a lot in outlook, but in personality she changed only as much as I wanted.
Ohh that sounds fun! :'D As my 6,75 projects went under some major changes through years (...even whole world settings), some of my OCs changed a lot :'D especially after I decided to make my OCs more human-like, not perfect beauty being c;
I think Adelinde have changed the most, as, well, I suppose only her hair colour and role in the story stayed the same XD so from aggresive and tsundere-ish she changed into soft, calm and warm girl, changed clothing to more mori-girl style inspired ones, and from a fox demon to a forest spirit. 
Another one that changed a lot is Thomas, who went from a silent and serious pretty boy to a lazy, normal guy CX
Other OCs, including main character, changed as well, but my post is already way too long CX

I couldn't really find anything finished from recent featuring an old character, so I chose these two, where the progress is really visible. I remember having something like "History" extra pages in my comic back in these days where I had even the stages of progress in between the first and last, which I think every comic should have someday, it's so much fun to look at

Love seeing all the change here! I had this kid since 2011 and of course underwent a LOT of change - from name to appearance to powers! A lot of my characters changed a lot but I think North changed the most. His name was previously Adam but i changed it to North so that there's a theme with his twin.

Look at that change!! So much is different! His hair, his skin colour, his clothes? I'm so proud of that. Gosh.

Honestly his design hasn't changed at all. The only thing that's different appears to be that his tunic isn't stitched together anymore (why was it ever?), and he now has sandles instead of what appear to be some kind of crude pair of boots.
But look at some of those style changes and talent improvements! I now feel kinda good about my art... :')

Also, I haven't drawn a picture of the two of them together other than transformation panels in a long time, since they're never in the same place at the same time, hahah
2013 VS 2015
This was my skill level at 1 or 2 years ago like 2013-2014i-ish I drew the same way I did when I was a child, until I took drawing seriously.

My two mains have gone through some re-design hell, haha. The oldest picture I have of them is a cropped screenshot of the very first attempt at a comic I made with them:
Uni originally had legit rainbow hair (think rainbow dash from mlp), and Raul was a ginger, haha.
They now look like this:
(Raul's skin has gotten a bit darker since this was drawn, but it's a good example picture, haha.)
I like to think it's a nice improvement. :,)
I really like the changes! I think the accessories and changes to their hair really express their personalities way more!

His outfit changed multiple times, and he is/was slated to have a different outfit on occasions or as time passes. He also originally wielded a sword, but I'm dropping it in favor of his more... savage powers.
Here is a year later. This outfit will stick even until now.

Hes name was AnnaLia back then but now i changed his name to Sonata Leo.(Because AnnaLia sounds like a girl name)
He has a power to control all elements and he is the king.Hes favourite element is something cold like ice/snow/blizzard
He is less friendly and more selfishness in him.Strong power he has there.
