Here's from me :3 - Some personal stuff: [image] [image] [image] - And some fanarts: [image] [image] [image] [image]

Twin Peaks + Deadly Premonition is like THE perfect crossover ( ˘ ³˘)♥

Thank you so much for reminding us, I had completely forgotten about it!! I missed it last year and only could do a couple of sketches at the very end of the month. I'd love to try it this year properly! I don't think I'll go with a comic though, but a theme is a very nice idea. Maybe mix my 1980s…

I'm sure you'll love it, it's an amazing manga AND it's fantastic for inspiration ^^

YAY!! I just can't wait!! σ(≧ε≦o) I'm gonna be on holidays for about 10-15 days starting tomorrow (the first real holidays I have in pretty much 2 decades haha!), but I'll keep my sketchbooks with me to doodle ideas and make sure I'm ready when needed!

For me it's a tie between the Super Mario series and the Shin Megami Tensei series <3 And yes, I include Persona, Devil Survivor and all the other spin-offs in it :3

That was one of the details I needed to know to create my characters ^^ [image] [image]

Ooooh I really love the idea!! But do we have to have a story or illustrations already finished to join? Or is there going to be a deadline to give us time to draw one if we join? Here's a link to my portfolio and tumblr, if you want to check what I do apart from my webcomic on tapastic ^^

Thank you sooo much!! Wow CN is one of my biggest dreams and Disney IS my biggest dream haha! Seriously this is so sweet, it means so much to me <3

As an "amateur", I started spending my days drawing when i was about 4-5 years old, because of all the french comic and manga and anime I used to eat 24/7. And it got worse during my teenage years, when I became obsessed with the manga by CLAMP xD Then I drew some comics for artschool (pretty much…

I'm loving this! There's kind of a Katsuhiro Ôtomo/"Mother Sarah" vibe, it looks fascinating <3

Aww thank you so much!! :'D That's actually one of my biggest dreams, working for CN some day... I'll keep on working hard until I succeed!! MegaHugs

Buffalo'66 is one of the greatest, most beautiful films of all time to me <3 Gallo is an absolute ****, but this film is breathtaking and Christina Ricci is pure perfection as always!

I don't know if they're on the american netflix, but if I had to choose 5 of my favorites, I'd say: Naked Lunch Inland Empire (and pretty much all of David Lynch's filmography especially Twin Peaks/Eraserhead/Mulholland Drive) Paprika / Perfect Blue (yes, that's 2, but Satoshi Kon is my God) Fa…

Here's my top banner for Purple Boudoir: [image] And here's the picture I used for the thumbnail ^^ [image]

I never start a story without having an opening and ending theme in mind haha! For Purple Boudoir, both are from one of my favorite bands of all time: REBECCA ^^ The story came to life while listening to their music <3 Opening would be MOON: And ending would be VIRGINITY:

Aaaah it's awesome (。♥‿♥。) You really should try and pitch the story and designs to an animation studio, I'm sure it could be a fantastic show <3

Welcome Guilherme!! And congratulations for your comic, what I've seen of it so far look so good and promising <3 I hope you'll enjoy being here with us on tapastic!!

CYRUS!!!!! <3 The final design is so perfect, so unique and alive! I can't help but imagine him animated o(≧∇≦o)

My webcomic Purple Boudoir has two main heroes ^^ Winifred shares my biggest fear, the thought that she might be useless to people and they will end up abandoning her because of it. Glynis on the contrary doesn't fear that at all, as she's perfectly aware of how easily people are attracted to her …

Episode#3 - page 1, the latest page from my webcomic Purple Boudoir ^^ [image]

Your art is absolutely stunning!! Seriously I'm in love with it <3

I work with pencils and inks on paper so maybe it won't be very useful, but for my webcomic Purple Boudoir, I always go with A3 paper (29.7 x 42cm = 11.7 × 16.5inches), and a 600dpi scan for the colors. So my files are usually really big and heavy haha! Working big is always the best, as a lot of …

Just like @allenthomas , it's Dragon Ball Evolution for me too. Not only was it extremely awful, it was a real and unjustified insult to any fan out there of the original material...

I'm kinda ashamed to say it but I loved that film x'D I laughed so hard watching it and I couldn't resist Mr. Tinkles haha!

When it comes to manga and pacing, "X" by CLAMP remains my favorite. Not only do they perfectly know how to handle a huge cast (about 15 important character + smaller parts that matter), they also know exactly when action is needed, how to cool things out, how to use stress and sadness to build th…

For US cartoons, I'd say: - The Critic - Animaniacs - Freakazoid - Batman (1992) - Beetlejuice - Gargoyles - DuckTales - Goof Troop And if we can add childhood anime: - Dragon Ball - Ranma 1/2 - Dirty Pair - City Hunter - Sailor Moon - Creamy Mami - Hai ! Step Jun - Attacker You ...and so many mor…

I totally agree, Suda51 is a genius!! His games might be clumsy to some, but to me they feel like he's trying to shrae a dream or some indescribable feelings... It's fascinating and mesmerizing <3

If I have to pick 5 for a list, I'd say: Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within (PC) Persona 2 (PS1) Solatorobo (DS) Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey (DS) Unison (PS2 - japanese version!! the US version is disgusting >___<)
