I'm migrating the art show to Linux and my old dialog fonts are all on obscure Asian sites I can't be arsed to go hunt down so I'm trying to replace them with stuff Linux can get me.

The character is a "Happy Free Spirit Meddler" type (you know... lies in ponds distributing swords as a system of government) so I'm looking for a good balance of fitting the personality and easy to read. I have two preferences but I figure I should check with different eyeballs first.

I think I prefer the top text but that's because i like fonts that are thin lol

I will say that bolder text gives the impression of heaviness, so if you're trying to present a speaking style that's a little lighter and free, the first text does that better.

I do like how "curlier" the second text is though!

I kinda like Dekko. it hits a right balance for me.

Shantel Sans feels just a tad too bold for me
Fuzzy Bubbles... eeeh, can't put my finger on it, but doesn't do it for me.
Mali Med, I don't like the squiggles/swirly lines. Doesn't really match your style either, which is more straight forward imo.

Definitley Dekko. It's just suits to all of the page - fits to your art style.

Right now I'm thinking Dekko for that character. Fuzzy Bubbles will go to another character.
