New update! https://tapas.io/episode/2238105
Girls. Fantasy. Air.
I posted my newest webcomic!
Made an update for Life's Lemonade
I've been rewatching My Hero Academia since season 5 was announced. I gotten so invested that I decided to make fanart. I drew my OC Happy from Life's Lemonade as a U.A. High student training to become a hero. She turned out so cute! [image][image]
Anatomy and panel composition. I always feel that I could've make certain scenes flow better or have a stronger punch.
I think it comes down to preference. Both traditional and digital art are challenging and amazing in their own unique ways. Either way, you still need to practice and understand the medium in order to master it. If you feel more comfortable using traditional, go for it. Otherwise, go digital.
Life's Lemonade recently reached the 25 subscribers milestone! It's a slice of life comedy series about the wholesome and dry daily life of Happy the Protagonist! It's cute, funny, random, and most of all awesome! https://tapas.io/series/Lifes-Lemona/info
A girl who's more or less a parody of the writer is doing whatever with her life. Lemons are metaphorical than actually present.
I released a new update! https://tapas.io/episode/2070361 https://tapas.io/series/Lifes-Lemona
When Life gives you lemons, you make lemonade--lots and lots of lemonade. The daily life stories of a girl who lives as she chooses. "I'm weird, not an idiot." I think it shows that anyone can make good stories. Everyone has an idea. What matters is whether they are willing to bring it to lif…
I updated my webcomic! https://tapas.io/episode/2056542
Here's my webcomic!
I am finally able to update my comic. https://tapas.io/episode/1955827
I use Krita because it's free and has the tools I need/want to make stuff. It's also a good testing ground to determine if I'm willing to invest more into digital art. My process is making the thumbnails traditionally alongside a script. I then transfer the thumbnail to Krita and refine it to a sket…
Here's mine! I'm not good with realism, so I use basic shapes instead. [image]
I use Krita for mine. I hand drawn the bubbles and use the text tool. I also made my own font
I once read somewhere that every word we say and write has intent to it--there's always a reason why we utter something. With that said, I think it makes sense that the writer would have purpose with every word he wrote. He wants to say something, he wants to tell a story and to do that in a creativ…
I create as a means to express myself. I have a hard time doing that in real life, so I use art and writing to speak for me. It's also fun!
No I don't usually use a thesaurus or dictionary unless I wanted to be sure that I used certain words correctly. There's also the temptation of using overly complicated words for the sake of sounding smart so there's another reason XD.
My accomplishments this year are finishing 2 animatics and slowly growing my art platforms [:tapa_pop:]
I like reading stories, but most of all I like looking at the pictures. Every time I read a storybook, I would always look at the pictures because they were so cute or cool. It turned out that pictures can tell a story. Inevitably, I like watching cartoons and anime, and reading several comic books …
Line art always feel satisfying to me because when done right it can really be expressive. Here is my old line art in my old webcomic When Cats Rule the World. It was...a work in progress [:sweat_02:]. [image] And here's my line art for my current comic Life's Lemonade. I've been experimentin…
"I'm observing the air clones."
Mine came up from my personal experiences or what I saw or feel. I also wanted to work on my sense of humor, so there's that. I initially started mine as a means to experiment on panel composition. Nowadays, I became unexpectedly invested to it.
This is mine! It's a slice of life comedy about the protagonist's daily life.
I used to draw traditionally before going digital. I now plan things out traditionally because it's faster and fun. I then do the final parts digitally because of its flexibility. With that said, I always make sure that my brushes are able to mimic my favorite traditional tools such as pencil and w…
I somehow completed Inktober last year. I want to continue that completion for this one XD. I hope. XDXDXD
