[image] Generally keeping the your values light will limit your saturation to some degree. a pale pink will never become bright pink without becoming a darker value. They also seem to be applying some sort of color layer over everything to unify the colors.

How about ur company promote some LGBTQ+ comics on your front page instead? Asking LGBTQ+ creators to risk their safety by plastering their faces all over your site is the kind of performative gesture that we don't need.

I got alien squid ppl!

Okay, once you get used to it, your analysis will be faster and running in the background. And by then when u find an extremely well-made masterpiece, the high of reading a work and seeing the clever visual decisions is transcendental.

[image]Process.jpg I usually pick a past fashion illustrations and create a story/theme to justify drawing it for 40+ pages. Then I mock up a 3d head for reference, it's usually worth the time spent modeling it. I would layout the script in rough thumbnails and send that out to friends for critique…

I've recently discovered and fell in love with HellWay, an absolutely gorgeous comic with too few comment/likes/subs!

I think readers in general prefer batches, but algorithm benefits you whenever you post something new. Whenever u update, your comic will be pushed up in "fresh" category in the genre of your comic, which might result in more readers.

I wish there was either a differentiation between Mature and Explicit content. Or at least a way to mark your entire series mature.

It's criminal that Amunito only has 56 sub, I'm obsessed with the style and design. It's Moebius meets Hylics meets Adventure Time. Ongoing. A serene and creepy horror drama with lovely art only at 103 subscribers? The Unbearable Smell of Oranges deserves more love. Completed. A beautiful …

Oh the Mature Series section on Tapas is a premium-only section for seemingly only porn? For non-premium works u have to turn on the mature button individually for each page. I have seen other non-sexual mature content creators who just put (NSFW) and warnings in the description of series. Example: h…

I have been thinking about it in terms of "would whatever concept/imagery/message on this page be harmful to younger ppl if I don't check the mature button." It doesn't really harm your work to mark it "mature" and I personally would rather be cautious than not.

Omg i did not know that was a thing, i'll check those out!

wait what's the trailer thing?

Thank you! that's extremely helpful!

Hey guys, I just finished posting my first comic and was wondering if anyone has any advice. What do you do with your comic afterwards? bc tapas is so episodic and long form driven, is there anything u do promotion-wise once a comic is completed?
