haha never thought about this apparently "Corrupted Soul" is an enemy in a game called tibia, and an Item in World of Warcraft. huh, not what I expected. But it does sound like what would be a ghost enemy to defeat in a fantasy game lol even found an Undertale fanfic with the same title before giv…
I'll post my last panel instead. It was peaceful to work on :3 [image] Comic : Corrupted Soul
It used to be an inside joke between me and my friends that if my MC met me he'd try to murder me in a horrible way for making his life so chaotic
thank you!!! means a lot to me ;v;
I had the same issue in my head before starting mine My MC is a hitman, and the very first chapter is the murder of a princess and her brother in her birthday party...so yea I tried to make him more likable by throwing small comical relief scenes or funny references in the middle of the ...strongest …
[image] my last page for Corrupted Soul <3
got in a week or two because mine was featured for some reason in New and Noteworthy and the Daily Snack while it was still just the prologue up.
well, Corrupted Soul is a mix of many, many things that I've been into for the last years. Like Assassin's Creed and The Legend of Zelda. But the biggest influence of all was Maleficent (2014). I loved the movie, but (2014 movie spoilers ahead) I didn't like how her wings returned to her at the en…
Hell yes and I got it haha My friend is learning music and she did a few instrumentals over my series. Listening to them makes me imagine a movie soundtrack and the character will show up with that song in the background.
Hello! Now, this is something I'm curious about. To me, the cover is something really important. It needs to stand out, symbolize something. Because, really, we do judge a book by its cover sometimes. So let's talk about our experiences with this: Did you get to use the very first cover you drew or…
I'm 16! hehe I've just recently started on doing comics, but i've been planning mine for around 4 years.
I listen to a lot of TLoZ soundtracks too, they are so great In general, I just listen to instrumentals the most while drawing; music with vocals does distract me sometimes. I can't focus on drawing with silence though. I also have a thing of having more focus on a drawing if the music I listen to r…
Fantasy for sure. I don't really enjoy romance a lot, oops
For me it's like: 1 - try to start without scripting at all 2 - feel bad for not making a proper script 3 - do a proper script 4 - change literally everything from the script while sketching the panels
Ah if you like fantasy stories that aren't enchanted at all, here's my comic Corrupted Soul! It's a Fantasy/drama long series with a bit of horror. It means a lot for me if you take a look! <3
Damn I'd also like to know if that kind of story is accepted by the community I'm also working on a fantasy comic and so far my experience is kind of weird. I got my prologue to the daily snack and my series in the "New and Noteworthy" section, got around 1030 subs with that. But when the features w…
I don't think subscribers get notifications in episode updates, but either way, multiple shorter episodes are better for tapas than long ones. You can cut it like: [Chapter title] part 1 [Chapter title] part 2 etc and put the same icon for parts of the same chapter, it's the way i get over this orga…
dude I rate mine 5/5 edgy bladed stars that might cut you. soft and colorful rainbows ★★★★★ extreme edge seriously though, I'd rate the current episodes a 3/5 normal stars. the missing two being the things I still need to learn and practice about this type of storytelling.
oh thank you so much! For the first chapter I used the font size of 26 added in the pages before they were resized (2000x width), perhaps if I change it to 28 or 30 it will get better. And god yes, the first episode actually bothers me because of that haha I'm glad it got better somehow. thank you <…
ah alright, I'll just link the series here then I'd like to know if I'm doing something wrong here so I can make future episodes better ;v; thank ye <3 Aah sorry I just saw the other reply, well there are still few episodes so maybe take a look at the last one?
hey guys, I'm kind of new with webcomics and I'm not too confident on my paneling and speech bubble positioning etc...uuh mostly the flow of it. So I'd like some opinions. Any other critique about the artstyle is welcome as well...But do I post a single page here or a link to the series?
to me, fantasy is anything that stands out of our normality (with the exception of sci-fi, of course.) To be honest, I only tagged my comic as Fantasy because It isn't purely horror, purely drama, purely comedy and even less of a pure romance story, so I picked Fantasy since it has magical themes et…
I don't think I have any characters that would fit in as cameo but damn the comic seems awesome. Your artstyle is great <3
While buildings and backgrounds in general are hard to me, my biggest issue is for sure not making everything extremely "rushed". My lineart is sketchy, coloring is out of place and shading doesn't really follow the "lineart" at all haha
