Hello! Now, this is something I'm curious about. To me, the cover is something really important. It needs to stand out, symbolize something. Because, really, we do judge a book by its cover sometimes.
So let's talk about our experiences with this:
Did you get to use the very first cover you drew or did you constantly redo it as time passed? How many potential covers did you draw? What do you think of them? Did you even draw a cover at all?
What do they represent? Which aspect of your series did you put in it?
Show them, as well as a link to your series, I'm seeking new things to read this summer
I'll speak for myself first; in my personal experience, the first thing I went to work on for my comic was a cover - out of hype, of course. But the years passed and I thought I could do something better for when I actually release the comic. But...well I ended up doing uh around four of them haha
https://sta.sh/21dcxhub0roq?edit=1 The older ones are in this folder, just so I don't flood the first post.
And well, I actually prefer the older ones the most, since I basically gave up the Yin Yang theme on the newer one and I regret it. But their art is just so bad in my eyes now that eeeeh Still, I see that as great improvement.
What about you guys?
