BIG TIME! My style constantly veers between comic and realistic. I am finally sitting down though to nail down character sheets that I'll crop down and cram onto an 8x11 sheet of paper to stick in my sketchbook.

Yeah Ive got 2 separate backups of all my art smile Great advice. Saving is a force of habit I'm sure of anyone who works with "why would anyone need an autosave feature" Photoshop. Worst loss I had was around 5 hours of work.

Well for one thing you should stick your link to your comic in your description. Or link to it in threads you post, like I'm about to do right here: Planet Thundersnow B O O M ! ! ! ! We cant check it out if we don't know where it is. Ha yeah my first comic I have too many ideas, so i…

A good trick I always use is I try and angle my art inward from the border to draw the viewers eyes towards what I want them to look at. Snow-capped mountains, swaying pine trees, flying severed limbs, etc. My latest page really utilizes action arrows in a unique but effective and fun way. […

Here are the first two covers for my comic Planet Thundersnow [image] [image] I want to color them, but it would take me a week with all the detail I cram into my stuff XD

Subbed! I got a real strong Moebius vibe from your artwork.

I am stunningly handsome. My character Overlord Thundersnow in Planet Thundersnow is a direct representation of myself in comic form.

I'd love to see your review of Planet Thundersnow! Positive and Negative! Listen to your heart! It's rated Mature...Think of it kind of like Walking Dead, if you can't handle that kind of violence you probably won't enjoy how the story will eventually progress. [image] …

My main starting lineup is all men. It's not because I hate women, far from it. It's just that...it wasn't until lately that I was happy with the end result of my female drawings  I've been spending 3 months working on it and I think I'm finally at the point where I'm satisfied with how they…

Would I like to be published by a major comic company? YESH PLEASE

I do it for the chicks. Free Webcomic Artist = Total Babe Magnet

Patreon was my immediate reaction as well. "Please insert $1 to remove the black bar"

You're way ahead of me , you've actually printed a comic! Great job man! I have friends who've printed their comics and set up shop at comic conventions. Sometimes they made a hundred (gross or net? prob gross). Oftentimes they make nothing. It ain't what it used to be that's for sure. Are …

When I started, I uploaded everything I had in one giant chunk last year. Biggest mistake you can make on this site. If anything, you want to upload a page every three days just to remain on the 'trending' page of your subcategory. Now I always make sure to tell people who upload in chucks t…

I hang out with my nephew for 4 hours and I'm completely exhausted. I don't know how you guys do it.

I think it goes something like "spend ten thousand hours working on something, and you will become an expert at it." I firmly believe this concept, and set out 5 years ago to improve my art to a professional level. I estimate I'm probably around the five-six thousand hour mark (I probably should …

Great to know! Thanks!

That's very odd. Most if not all artists covet communication with readers. It's almost non-existent on personal websites so when someone comments on my stuff I ALWAYS reply. Although people aren't chiming in and giving wrong advice or anything so, I could imagine a constant barrage of harsh sugg…

Man my stuff is hyper detailed and it takes forever to crank out, but I love the finished product! But at the rate I generate content, I'm basically doing it as a labor of love, because I only update once every 2-3 weeks. Which is a drag, but hey, I'm getting my story out there!

I have a zombie in my comic and I was considering making him my comic's avatar and slapping "ZL" for Zombie Love on the icon in order to generate the views necessary to live the lush and luxurious lifestyle I so richly deserve.

Whew gifs are time consuming. That's some serious dedication Evan! I created a signature gif that was relatively short, but that took me weeks. I just subscribed to your comic out of sheer admiration. smile

Hi everyone! When I recently reached 60 subscribers over at my webcomic: Planet Thundersnow I wanted to show my appreciation by creating a custom Tapastic comic page! It's really a labor of love, because it takes the same amount of time as your other comic pages, but it only applies to one pla…

I strive to get that professional look. If something is off, I can't in good conscience 'ship it out' without losing my mind. One thing that I noticed from students from the FZE school on youtube (over in Korea?) is how tight their pencils are. I mean everything is super crisp. Clearly they are…

Planet Thundersnow 1) Future Check 2) Checkish 3) Check 4) CHECK 5) No, but I'm sure you'll appreciate the unique stlye 6) Check [image]

Might I suggest adding the occasional trash to the street scenes? It's always come in handy for me when doing a huge open city view. A little trash spread out in your world can work wonders. smile

Oh wow that's huge news! I had no idea. As far as interaction goes, I've noticed that A LOT of webcomics hosting their own sites almost never have comments. The exceptions are sites that appear to be a personal site but are in-fact linked within a webcomic farm. Some of the best webcomics …

I subscribed to myself to get instant notification when I updated, but that stopped for some reason about a month ago.
