Hi! I've been struggling with building an audience, perhaps because of a rather narrow/specific category of my comic: it's a history/fantasy blend set in the middle ages, featuring vampires, werewolves, changelings and magic. Here is the link if anyone wants to check it out:
Personally, I think the idea to skip the flashbacks is a good one but ONLY if you feel that YOU don't have the energy/strength to deal with that stuff now. That it might be emotionally too draining. But I think it could actually be a strength of your story that it relates to current things so well.…
