Oh, that's really cool of them to do! I'm a little bummed out that this probably won't be a regular thing, but very excited about the new readers!
Hey, same! I posted a page Monday and was staggered when I checked my stats yesterday and saw I'd had over 400 views that day. My subscriber count also doubled. I was just wondering if it was because I posted in the afternoon instead of the morning, lol.
That's good advice, but I can't because the originals are bigger than Tapas allows. And I don't mean the file size, I mean the length and width are too large. Maybe I've missed something very obvious, but I don't know of a way to shrink a jpg that isn't basically what I've already been doing. Again…
That's right! Each time I saved what I was doing was creating a new file of the appropriate size, and dropping the original into it to scale down. I was not making progressive changes to the same file. I know that wasn't super clear in my previous posts, I was trying to keep the explanation concise.…
Thank you! I actually went looking for it on your Tapas profile and was disappointed I couldn't find it! ^-^; I'll definitely give that a read!
Off topic, but I adore that last comic! It's so charming. The humor reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes, one of the first comics I really got into. <3
I still don't know how to fix this, but I did figure out a work around. I kicked the saturation up about 25 points and now the colors look a lot closer. [image] (Tapas is right this time, Webtoon is left.) It's not a perfect match, but I think it's a lot better than before. Also, my comic is up n…
Coming from a reader's perspective, I remember a lot of people I used to follow avidly would post art of things that were way in the future, or background info that would never be revealed in the story but would affect it later on. The thing was, it never ruined my enjoyment of the series, it just m…
Hey, thanks for uploading a comparison of your own! It's good to know this isn't something that always happens, so it's likely something I can fix! (I like your art style btw!) I don't think it's a compression issue? Because I used the same file to upload it on Webtoons and Tapas. Today I wondered …
It looks like the Webtoons one. I initially noticed the tapas thing because my comic looked grayer than before. It's not horrible but I'm not a fan of the change. P:
That's a great idea! [image] Here's the page where it's most noticeable. It's subtle, but the pink seems brighter, and the blue richer on Webtoon.
Yep! I posted them all in a row, basically.
Thanks for the reply! I was actually thinking about making it in CMYK, but my editing software doesn't actually have that setting. Something else weird: the colors look fine when I upload the same files to Webtoon.
Hello, first time user here! I just started scheduling comic pages, and I noticed the ones I uploaded seemed noticeably less vibrant in the Tapas preview than they do in my computer file. At first I thought it was because I changed my file into a lower res png for the upload, but comparing the old f…
