AWW, thank you so much, I'm really glad you like my art and are interested in my comic!! :sob:  Thank you for the link!!! Hopefully I can buy it soon since it's on sale right now hehe. :sparkles: I absolutely love your website and it's so cool that you also make plushies and sell some other things besides comics!!…

Your book looks amazing!!! The art looks amazing as well! Congrats on publishing it! :tada: I actually really love to collect indie/self published/webcomics in physical forms if I can, and BL is a favorite genre of mine to be honest, haha. (I also love the idea of you encouraging other webcomic creators t…

Aww, thanks so much!! So glad you like the look of the website! And OHH that's a good reminder, I will definitely do that then. Thank you! :+1: (If you ever need to contact me in the future, you can always reach me at my email: sevitachan at gmail.com :relaxed:)

Hi all. Recently I was hoping to offer these kinds of services to other webtoon/webcomic creators, since these are some things I have done myself for my own webcomic. I feel that a lot of webtoon/webcomic creators would benefit from having their comic in print and selling locally/online, or also uti…

First of all, apologies if posting this is against the forum rules. Due to all of the information I've been seeing about this publisher, and how it seems the awareness of the allegations are still relatively unknown, I felt it would be best to share with you all here in case there's anyone consideri…

Since you edited your post, there are actually a few BL I can recommend, which were just my personal favs, but they mostly published in 2011 ish. (Apologies if you wanted to see something from earlier) Also, if you're curious to just see what the websites looked like back then, you can always jump…

OMG!!! YESSS that's it!!!!!! I always wondered what it was called. I was in school back then and a friend of mine had me read it to see my reaction, lol

As some posters have also said, vertical scrolling comics sort of came more onto the scene around 2012. I remember seeing a Korean horror vertical scroll comic back in 2012, so that's at least where I remember seeing them. I can't remember what it was called, though, but I think it was really popula…

I started selling at conventions around 2017, more seriously in 2018 but dropped off around covid and am sort of getting back into it again. I've only really sold annually at two local anime conventions in my state (I live in the midwest USA) one was small, and the other is a very huge anime convent…

I'm mixed Indian artist (technically Indian-Caribbean and African American) and I live in the US. I make a comic on here but it doesn't have anything to do with India. I do have a short fantasy comic that I sell called Charu that is more of a fantasy set in an ancient historical setting. I've been w…

I've been working on my comic continuously for 8 years. I haven't really redone very much of it, aside from the first chapter in order to get it into a print format. It's probably just taken me so long because when it's finished it'll be around 600 pages, and I also have juggled a few other projects…

My comic is a drama, more specifically a gang drama (and also a bit of slowburn romance) It's a story about two unlikely delinquents, one is a gang leader and the other is a straight A student, and the two of them come together against dangerous odds to protect others, especially the ones they love. …

If you're up for something with a lot of content to sink your teeth in (like, roughly 300+ pages) my comic might be up your alley...?! Aside from it being a BL (and a super slow burn one at that) rather than romance, the major focus of the story is a mystery that the two main leads are trying to get…

Hmm I like to think my characters in my comic are pretty manly haha. It's a slow burn BL comic about gangsters and delinquents if you're into that sort of thing.

When your slots open back up, and if my comic is something that's up your alley, I'd be happy to get a review for it! There's a lot of pages though, so feel free to read only a bit if you'd like.

Personally, I'd prefer both, but if I had to choose...I'd probably gravitate towards stories that address discrimination but handle it well. I like to tell stories with characters who are LGBTQ who, on occasion, come across situations where they are confronted with discrimination, but I like to show…

I use Toocheke for wordpress! It's very mobile friendly and has quite a bit of ways to customize your comic website, but it depends on what features you really want on your website so you'd have to see if Toocheke has everything that you need. If you'd like to see an example of how my website looks …

I need to get back to posting my art on my pillowfort, but I'd love to follow more webcomic folks!

[image] [image] Finally...I get to use these memes for something...:joy:

As much as it doesn't come as a shock to me that this is what's happening to Smackjeeves, I'm still pretty upset about it. I had been on that site since around 2010, and there's so many fond memories I have of comics that I remember reading. Growing up on webcomics is what made me the creator I am n…

Hi there! :grinning: I consider my comic a mystery, and in it's own unorthodox way is a kind of investigation mystery? It's technically a slice of life story about teenage delinquents investigating the source of gang violence in their area, although I tend to advertise it more as a drama/romance. It's n…

Oh cool, here's mine! (I generally follow back artist accounts!:+1:) https://www.instagram.com/boniae/

Your comic has been on my to-read list for some time (I love J-rock, so mix that together with a BL story and this kind of subject is right up my alley) so it's interesting that I've found this thread to remind me to read it through now. At a first glance I really love the art, it's very consistent,…

I'd really love to be able to write a fun and meaningful children's comic/picture book. I'm a huge fan of picture books and children's book series, especially the ones I remember growing up with, like Frog and Toad, Arthur, Henry and Mudge, Barbar and Madeline. I feel like every time I've tried to c…

I think it's definitely a good idea to write a script down with a comic with a plot, although everyone has a certain process that they're the most comfortable with, so hopefully you'll figure out what way you want to do it. I've been working on my webcomic for a few years now and it just helps to ha…

No problem! Glad you found some that caught your interest!! And ahhh thank you, I'm happy you like the art! ^o^ Ohh okay awesome, I didn't know if you used it since some people use steam too. Haha I'm actually the same way too, I don't get to play many games since I'm also working on a lot of stuff…

Ohh cool, visual novels!! I love Chess of Blades, although you've reminded me that I need to pick back on playing it and finish some routes. I've always been a big fan of visual novels, and when I was first dabbling with webcomics my interests also leaned into visual novel development as well, so n…

One time as an April fools joke, I animated a trailer for my webcomic's "english dub", where I purposely censored things to make it seem like a 4kids cartoon LOL.:joy: It was a really fun animation project to work on and I was able to get some voice acting for it too.

AHHHHH I don't know who's the secret santa that made my gift (#16) BUT I've been re-reading the comic you made and it's so adorable and PERFECT and it totally feels like something they'd do hahaha :sob: :joy: and plus I've been gushing over the fact you actually made a comic!!! ahhh!!!! I'LL CHERISH IT FOREVE…

Interesting question! (With a lot of really cool answers from the folks here :-D) Unfortunately my characters are very simple and similar looking, but I'd have to say after like 3 years of this grind, there's some certain features that make my main duo feel like themselves when I draw them. Hideki…
