Cool! I dig the fast paced random stuff!

Your calendar project is awesome! I've learned about quite a few official days that I had never heard of before! (and the art is great!)

So after reading a bunch of Ben Snakepit comics, I decided it would be fun to do something very similar. I've been drawing quick 3 panel strips every day for the last week or so about my day. It's been fun to build out a collection of simple everyday events. I just started sharing them on this Twi…

Well... I'm still WAY under 100, so check out my slice-of-life-ish comic, Mount Saint Awesome (new comic posted today!)

Oooo, that HP might be what I'm looking for. I don't thinkI could go back to using a non-wireless printer/scanner. Thanks!

I've started drawing my comics on 11 x 17 paper and I love the larger size, but scanning is a pain. Currently I'm using a regular 8.5 x 11 sized scanner and stitching things together in Photoshop. It works, but it's not ideal. Does anybody have any recommendations for a scanner or printer/scanner …

For most Mount Saint Awesome comics I start by sketching (usually on cheap printer paper) and then inking with Micron pens. Then I scan into Photoshop, correct the levels and clean up the image. From there I take that cleaned up image and import it into Illustrator, do a live trace (ignoring white) …

Sometimes. In Mount Saint Awesome there are some comics where I'll put myself (whatever version of myself I happen to be drawing that day) in the comic, sometimes I'll draw generic characters to act out the dialog in my head, and sometimes it will just be totally non-autobiographical situations.

Right now I just enjoy having people read/enjoy something I've made. Or if that doesn't happen, I want to at least enjoy what I made.

I've always gotten good responses when I delve into programming or music topics in comics, like jokes about Git or amps. Not everybody will get it it, but the people that do tend to enjoy it more.
