This is more of curiosity, but has anyone considered writing out the story of their future comic as a novel to introduce people to what they would get in the comic? Just something so you have your story down and gives the audience something to enjoy while you draw pages?

I have, but, honestly, I wish I hadn't. There's nothing worse than adapting a novel to a comic. I've done it for two stories and it resulted in a lot of rewriting. There's alot you can do in a novel. I wrot prose a paragraph long that could take 3 pages to draw. I'm moving away from novel to comic completely and now am just scripting it from the beginning.

I see why that could be hectic to manage. I like writing full paragraphs but script form is easier, especially if it's for a comic.
