Hi,
I'm Faisal Hussein.
I'm probably the only comic artist in the entirety of my family which is really sad and lonely.
Why do I make a comic that is based around middle eastern reference, culture, and folklore?
Well, there are at least three things:
One, there is barely any comic that revolves around middle eastern influence.
Two, I had a lot of thoughts in my mind that I want to publish it on my comic; Mukhtar.
Three and probably this is the most significant one, Is for everyone to read my comics, this is a very obvious choice which makes me relate to many other comic makers but yes I wish for many people around the world to view, read, subscribe, comment, like, and share.
Feel free to lend me advice or criticize me if it could benefit me to improve my comic even more. If there is an error for spellings or grammar, don't be shy to point that out so long as it helps my comic to grow better than ever.
Here is my comic, it is young but to start earlier than late right? Every Friday I will update a page:

In my story the plot is very confusing for all the exposition that has to happen. I've attempted to do it all naturally over the course of the story, but it all ends up confusing everyone and leading to a billion questions. I’ve minimized the details as much as possible but there’s still so many t…
Many world-building details about the story's setting should not be crammed all at once for readers at the beginning, as most people won't have the patience to read through it all. The information readers need to know should be conveyed naturally through the storyline, allowing readers to understa…
I've been trying that, but the story ended up feeling too dense with new information anyway. All the dark magic and prophecy and Arcanum stuff are necessary to understanding the two main characters and their motivations and situations. This is not even accounting for the fact that the place the ma…
If the only way for a story to make sense is if there’s an exposition dump at the start, you’re heading into the plot too fast. Try and start off slower and introduce these ideas organically while getting the audience familiar with the status quo and protagonist.
The concept of the Arcanum has to be understood before one of the two main characters can be introduced, otherwise their appearance will have no meaning. The very first plot point in the narrative is related to the chosen one stuff, so without understanding the chosen one stuff the reveal at the end…
Exactly what I wanted to say, the only thing I would add to this is that this advice is not for everyone. As apparent as it already is. Certain people already know what they want, they already wanted to write the way that they did. Doesn't matter if someone else gives a million-dollar advice, it's n…
I hate all the modern live action adaptations of animated characters right off the bat - so I would have nixed the projects to begin with. In my book live action is always inferior to animation. There were no redeeming traits based on the trailer! If I was to make a "for adults only" Powerpuffs a…
Thread's been done times and times before, but here goes - Some brilliant work by @faisalhussein394

My character Brian feels like no girl could ever love him in his cursed form
The common thread of my story is whether my characters are wanted for the skills that they offer or who they are as individuals. All being polar opposites their insecurities are actually the one thing they all have in common, who am I other than what I offer?
One for each member of the love pentagon [image]Corrine: Not being recognised for her accomplishment. [image]Rose: has the feeling that her life is getting nowhere and is meaningless. She was working in the service industry as a barista before dying and getting isekai’d to a fantasy world, where s…
If I have to choose one, is him being good enough. He feels like he failed at most of what he wanted to do in life, and now that his wife, the reason he kept going, has passed away, he feels empty. If that got you interested, come give it a read. You may like it.
