I hate going on hiatus. I just recently did, but that's because my only laptop died so I had to get a replacement. The best way to avoid hiatus is to have a three-six week buffer. That way, you can work on more pages while uploading what you have ready. You just have to keep up with your upload sc…

Once weekly for me, but that's because I have more than 10 pages finished, so that's nearly two months of work time for more uploads. Always have a lot of work in your "buffer" if you shoot for weekly.

I'm not the best when it comes to critiques, but I do my best. Also, seeing as though I'm super introverted...Social interaction? Sign me up!!

Story of my life right here. Sometimes you gotta kick yourself in the arse and say Nobody cares how bad the art is! If you can draw a stick, you can draw a comic!

My webcomic actually started as a gag-a-day strip series by the same name about three years ago. Here's a link to deviantart that has some of them. I made about 30 strips I think, then tried to flesh out the story more. Tomervision had a lot of incarnatons before I decided on a "Teenage Mutant Ninja…

A lot of folks might be pronouncing "Tomervision" and Julie's last name, "Tomer" as "Tom-Er-Vision" and "Tom-Er", when it's pronounced "Tome-Er". I've gotten it a lot, mostly from friends, who think the story is about a guy named Tom.

Coloring takes most of my time. While flat color use may sound simple, I use specific colors on most parts of the comic so I end up saving each to a separate color file.

I forgot to mention, I don't hand draw and scan my comics anymore. I use Manga Studio 5's 3D model feature, a very, very handy way to draw 2D characters which I have underrated for a long time. It's a little harder because you have to draw stuff like facial features in the right place, but I got/a…

I do this mostly; Research (Gaming, TV, Etc.) > Brainstorm > Script > Read Script > Edit > Draw. Sometimes I script while drawing and edit to what's being drawn.

I use A6 at 350 dpi, but I might bump it up to 400 to fix the small text problem after conversion.

I just used the old fashioned mind map and think about what situations can be stories. Then drawing it out, the story seemed to unfold itself and it got more and more interesting to me, so I write out plots while I draw. I also research story elements and see how they fit so that's another thing ent…

Excellent. No need to start a new account. Just do you and do good. I remember being part of forum boards back in college and those places went to hell for me, mostly because a lot of the community was toxic and you had to be popular/knowledgeable. (It was a Sonic fanbase, so I'm sure you know how…

25 years. I've been drawing since grade school. Haven't made a full issue until last month.

Thanks! Yeah I notice the text is a bit of a problem. I'll be fixing that as I progress on. Thanks! I totally appreciate it! smile

Italo Disco and most 80s music. You can hear what I have been working to in my comic.

Sorry about that. Here ya go. I'll put that in my profile right away! Tomervision #1 She's pretty feminist strong too.

I use mostly a minimalist style for my comic and keep the flat colors. I also like using the somewhat thick outlining for the line art. When it comes to colors, again, I like keeping it flat and simple, and add texture to some features in the scene. This minimalist style relates to how most comics…

Hiya. My comic's main character is a bisexual. I will also be introducing more characters of LGBT as the story progresses.

I'd go old school side scroll Beat em' up, TMNT and/or X-Men arcade style. As for consoles, I'd say a classic home release and PC. Also, it has to have Konami inspired music because they know how to compose excellent tracks.

I'm a big fan of foreshadowing! It lets you add the unexpected to shock readers. I'm using foreshadowing in my story now, but not to the point that it reveals that much. Readers may guess character fates with clues from what they say, but it's always great to add a twist to development.

Love the color use there, WakaXO. I'll be sure to see what you got! I just joined today with my comic, Tomervision. It's my first time finishing a 13 page comic, which is something I've been wanting to do for so long. It's a story about a teenage mutant girl in the 1980s. I made it mostly out of …
