Hey there! I'm Ryan, the creator of Taproot, Toil & Trouble!, and Jacob's Journal. Still very new to this, but I guess what I've learned from making webcomics for myself is that looking for progress and completion over perfection definitely helps. I know that it's my duty to continue the story and n…
I posted here before... But I have TWO series running at once now! Here's Taproot! [image] And Here's my new series, Toil & Trouble! [image]
Hey guys, this is Ryan, and I got two series running actually! Here's Taproot, the fantasy adventure with a bit of spooky stuff in it. The ending is going to be cool, I promise. [image] And Here's Toil & Trouble! [image]

Hiya, I'm Ryan, a fellow writer who collabs with artists to makes webcomics (I can link them if you like haha) ! I'm not here to apply for art, but I just wanted to make myself available if you needed questions. It sounds like you're new to this, and I can give help and advice if you're stuck. Reach…

Backgrounds. It's always backgrounds for me. Even with my artist, she hates backgrounds too and wants to get a background artist lol.
That is some dedication! Good job making so much so consistently!
I'm RamenTheKid, creator of Jacob's Journal, Taproot, and Toil & Trouble. I've got a bit of experience I guess, but am certainly no expert yet. That said, pre-production is one of my favorite parts. This is mostly because I love screenwriting a lot, and have worked to outsource the art. Taproot …

I drew a Chibi of a character from my first ever webcomic series, Jacob's Journal. I am currently working on my fourth but wanted to go back to the basics for a bit.
Not sure I would ever run out honestly. I have three webcomic series made right now and I came up with three solid ideas last week lol. If the well ever ran dry, I would just let myself live and move on. But that probably won't happen I think. I've been telling stories for years and I've never ran …
This is Eimer the Mole:

He is a timid mole that wants to save his mother from the Shadow Vermin, dangerous monsters that live in the dark that took his mother into the deepest cave.
Link to the Webcomic! ^ ^ ^ ^ Really would appreciate if you guys checked it out
Good stuff here, thank you!
Ive learned a lot since posting two series on Tapas, but my biggest and earliest mistake was waiting until I thought I was ready. I spent 13 years on a project, and I definitely was "ready" earlier than I thought I was.
Best of luck! I found my current artists on here and at my college.
Ultra Necrozma's theme from Pokemon Ultra Moon. It perfectly fits a battle I've been writing for a future webcomic!
[image] The yellow one is Jacob, the purple one is Andrea, and the green one is Blent from my Webcomic series!
Then stuff gets sad when an ability dies out and all the history surrounding it. Or if the bond you had is broken, that ability get stunted or completely forgotten.
Yeah It carries a sense of pride and "you totally want my ability now" with it. Or a sense of justice for the main character who fights with the abilities of the oppressed.
The magic system in a story I'm writing lets you learn magic abilities faster if you're bonded with someone. The people of that world tie a lot of culture and emotions to their magic and the bonds they formed to get them. The main character bonds with people who are oppressed because of their magi…
Thanks! Ill check it out!
Hey Bs2_bells! I am RamenTheKid, the creator of Taproot and Jacob's Journal on Webtoon/Tapas, and am interested in working on a webcomic with you! I am a fantasy and adventure writer, and I think my genre might connect well with what you are looking for. I'm fine being unpaid for a short comic and…
