I have 4 but two are completed and one is done being drawn irl. Completed: Completed sketching but not inking/posting: Ongoing:
Reusing art doesn't do much to help you grow as an artist. It is generally better to draw the character fresh every single time. But it depends on the style of art/comic that you're doing.
Paint bucket tool and selection tools are your friends.
Oh sweet! Just the mic is ok? That will make me less shy...
A BL fantasy
A lot of people have said this but start small. Do something that is maybe about the length of a standard comic issue (24 pages) or LESS. And set aside a regular time to work on it, if you are able to. Consistent practice will lead to speed.
I might have to try this, even though I am nervous about having my camera on!
I wanted to do something like this, this is great! Now I have to do a lot of reading Mine is https://tapas.io/series/Tale-of-Aninva, I just relaunched it. [image]
Oh no need to apologize. Thank you so much for answering! That was extremely helpful. Cheers!
I asked it a little higher up, but I didn't get an answer so I'll try again - can we submit something that is potentially many seasons?
You wrote 1 season. Does that mean we should submit a story that is only the length of one season, or can we submit a story that is multiple seasons long? Are you looking for longtime projects?
Wow thanks for this reply! I did not know they only had 13 staffers... no wonder there isn't that much premium content yet...
People have pointed this out but there are a TON more readers than creators. My readers are mostly readers only, without their own series. the core issue of Tapastic is getting those readers to tip, or perhaps expanding the amount of series available for keys only. Also artists trying to hustle…
I don't actively think "what am I gonna do for this story" instead either the concept or the imagery hits me like a ton of bricks out of nowhere. I tend to listen to a lot of music, read a lot of books, and watch a lot of crap on youtube everyday, though, this feeds my brain so I can actually fles…
This whole thread is fascinating! For me, I unsubscribe under 3 circumstances: I impulse subscribed because it looked interesting, then realized as I read it that it wasn't my thing. Story does something very offensive all of a sudden (it has to be a pretty big blunder) or, conversely, gets way…
I went through a period of not sleeping for more than 3-4 hours and working instead. I got pretty sick and pretty much went insane for a while, but to top it all off, I sprained my ring finger. I couldn't work at ALL for almost 4 months and that finger only just gained back it's full mobility. I…
I recall a brief time when tipping was on desktop. I wonder what problems it possibly could have caused? I see in that thread a lot of people are complaining about the exact same thing as me and Michaelson said they were working on it so that's good...
First time posting in the forums! I am rewarding people who tip 500 coins or more by sending them a pinup through the private message system on Tapastic. I have found that this greatly increases the amount of tips I get! However there is currently not a way to easily access my list of generous …
