My current comic is the 'old' school format, but honestly that's only because I intend to print it when I finish it. Very few of my readers actually read online comics, I'm mostly just 'trialing' it online. But still, I try really hard to make it readable on both desktop and mobile! It's not impossi…

Someone might have said this and I missed it but: -"Surprise, your house is actually built on an ancient burial ground/vortex/portal/ect." -Little kid with an imaginary friend that turns out to be a spooky ghost. -Movie opens with a couple about to get it on in a car when suddenly a killer sneaks…

 You had me at 'cryptozoology'...

I used to be really bad at quitting in the middle of things if I didn't like how it was turning out. Nowadays I'm a lot better at realizing "of course it doesn't look good right now, it's only half finished!" A good example of this lesson I saw recently was watching my mom repaint an ugly old dresse…

Wow looks super cool!! I'm totally game for this! I might have to wait until I get back from my trip next week, though!

O: this sounds fun! Are people still looking for partners?

First of all, there's no right or wrong pen to outline your art! I'm a firm believer that you don't have to have expensive/fancy art supplies to get a good result. <3 If you enjoy using Sharpies or Felteez, and you like the final product, then that's all that matters. Personally I'm a bit of a pe…

O: Here is my most recent page!

Page 4 is up - I'm sort of struggling with the speech bubbles. I don't know, I feel like they look a little too manufactured compared to the rest (because I used the auto bubble tools on Clip Studio ahaha) but I also don't like it when I hand draw them. Quite a predicament!

If you like ghosts, demons and nerdy Necromancers you might like my comic

I don't even wanna talk about the very first webcomics I made... I 'wrote' the stories in my head but never bothered to commit even a basic outline on paper. I had the endings all planned out but no real idea how to get there. Not to mention I was totally in my edgy, melodramatic phase where I thoug…

Personally I haven't noticed a difference when I do. I've seen some people say the only tags that really count are the tags on your entire comic, not individual pages. Most people just use the page tags to add in funny comments or something.

Woohoo, finally finished page 3! Took me ages since I got sick in the middle of it, and I was being super picky with the colors! But I'm happy with how it turned out. My friend said it looks like 'Animal Crossing levels of comfy', and I think I can live with that! Gotta make it look all innocent and…

Thank you! It's been a long time since I've done a full color comic, it's both way more annoying and way more fun than doing a black and white one. :joy:

Oh, I dunno. There was a lot going on in the 70s that was interesting. A lot of weird, crazy stuff happened that I think gets overshadowed by the 60s because everyone thinks hippies are fun. The 70s had war, political scandal, innovation, cults, civil rights, the government was doing all sorts of sh…

Actually not specifically for Halloween, but what better a time to write a comic about a Necromancer and a hat stealing ghost? Eventually I hope to print it, but I wanted to post it online to get people's opinions and gather some interested readers! Let me know what you think. Here are the first…

Here's my comedy comic, if you like cheesey retro stuff like Star Trek and UFO, if you like cryptids and monster hunters and Men in Black, you might like this!

I guess it's not THAT cute but I think our character Lucky turned out pretty adorable in this panel from this week's strip: [image]

I've always loved this guy's tutorials... This is mostly for close-up stuff, but he's got some great info in there!

I'm not sure how popular of an era the 70s are on Tapas, but I love it and I would to see some more comics about it other than my own! Anyways feel free to link and tell me about your comic! I'm collaborating on a comic that takes place in 1975, it's a sci-fi/comedy/mystery with some romantic the…

Warning: There's an f-bomb at the end!!

Definitely this sucker: [image] The cover of the same comic is a close second, though, but not in the sense that the actual art was a time sink, just because me and my co-author did separate parts and combining them was a little tricky:

Ooof, I feel ya on that one. Back when we were doing full backgrounds for every single panel (yes, even in close-ups, ugh) I was constantly forgetting details. Not just minor ones either, but stuff like big, super noticeable colorful stuff that took up the entire background. Luckily the underground …

I'm glad to see most people don't mind them haha. I'm constantly forgetting things like jewelry, beauty marks and tattoos and things like that. Especially one of our characters, he's always wearing a necklace that is fairly important for his story, and I feel like I'm always going back and adding it…

I'm primarily talking about artistic continuity errors, both big and small, not necessarily errors in the story... Although if you want to share your opinion on those too, go right ahead! I personally don't really notice them unless they're super obvious when I'm reading a comic, but as a creator it…

Here's our banner: [image] It's just a cropped version of our cover, we tried to emulate one of those flashy movie posters from the 70s.

Here are some of my favorites from my comic, E.L.I.S.E. Censored nip nops 'cuz yeah. [image] Also these aren't exactly pinups, but I've always thought these guys were cuties. [image] [image] [imag…

Maybe like a super colorful and cheesey 1970s sci-fi show like UFO where everything is weird and groovy. Actually, I take that back. Living in a Studio Ghibli movie would be great, especially the world in Howl's Moving Castle. (After the whole war thing is over.) Everything just looks so beautiful a…

I've always really liked the rice method when I'm drawing a map and feeling a little uncreative. I'm not sure if this would help much with actual city layouts, but it could help you get a general idea for a shape! Plus it's kind of fun to dink around with haha. There's also a program called Au…

@arisu_kosuta Woah! I love your style, you've definitely got a sub from me too! And thank you for the kind compliments and sub. <3 @VikiKuli You should definitely consider posting on Tapas as well, there's nothing wrong with mirroring a comic on multiple sites because you'll get a wider audience, …
