We are still in the process of testing some code required for waiving fees. We're hoping to resolve some last minute issues and ship the update shortly. In the case where we ship the update late - we'll extend the duration of the event.

We just launched the event page and the event is now live.

If you share the event on social media, please do tag us to let us know! We appreciate the signal boost!

Also, we'll be running a number of campaigns to spread awareness of the event throughout the month of April.

Finally, if you have a creator you'd like to receive some Ink, please let me! Post your favorite stories and tell me a little bit about what you love about it and I'll be sure to send those creators some Ink! Just reply to this forum post and I'll be sure to get around to it.

I'd like to suggest giving some ink to @rmdooley's comic, Legio Arcana!
I love the writing and the twists and turns of the plot; the black and white style is enjoyable and different from all the colored comics you see on Tapas, and the aesthetic serves the comic so well. This is one of those stories that I can't wait to see updates for, so I would love to volunteer it for some support.

I want to suggest giving ink to @authorhlumelo ‘s novel “Earthwitch”! It’s so original and the prose is amazing. The characters are rich and the world is solid. It’s an epic African fantasy story that deserves ALL the love.

I would like to recommend @Carolyn_Hill 's novel. It's a very interesting format of story telling that can be easily binged, keeping in line with the concept of bite-sized stories. The descriptions are concise and powerful, and allow you to delve deep into the feelings and actions of the two main characters.

I'd like to suggest Bianca Alvarenga (who's not on the forum sadly)'s comic, Supernova Squad! I just love the care and thought she put into her magical girl story and all of her OCs, from polished and shiny character designs to making every page like a beautiful anime screenshot. She's working slowly but surely on the next chapter on social media, and I think she'd really appreciate the extra support.

I would like to recommend @andrew17 and his comic Smith.
He recently made a compilation of the first 3 years of his comic and shared it with everyone. It has been super heartwarming to browse through those pages filled with feline shenanigans during these stressful days. Thanks for being awesome!

I have tweeted the event to help spread the word and I will also like to throw some support for @CarltonIsaac for comic Delphine and Zigadias! I really love the old-school 1970s/1980s pulp fantasy feel!

Also @vfinnigan is giving real-life heroines of The Wasp some attention and a voice through her series!

Finally, I'd like to give a shoutout to MouldyBrot (not on the forums ) for their dark fantasy story Flesh in Gold! It's just starting but I am super intrigued!

I really enjoy the characters and the world building in this story!

I'm way behind on this, BUT I've read a few things from this author and they really do a great job of creating emotion in their stories

This is a writer that I would really like to see get more attention! Even these short bits of writing are so impactful
