@fanyart
I would like to ask, will the "premium content" be limited to short stories only? Or can it be something like a download link for things like wallpapers, brushes, etc, so that it could be used more like support with rewards?
Your thinking is really smart here. The launch version of Tapas will have select stories (both text-based and graphics-based) which will need keys to unlock episodes after reading the first few free/unlocked episodes. However in the future we definitely see the platform opening up to allow exactly what you're describing. For example, say there's a really popular novel/comic that we can't, for whatever reason, get the rights to publish through Tapas...but the author really likes us/Tapas. What we're hoping we can do is work with that author to maybe create side stories in their world that we CAN publish on Tapas. Likewise, in your example, if a creator wants to have their "main" comic or story remain free, we're hoping we can work with them on supported side stories or other rewards.
@oroshe7
But are you gonna fix the issue with deleting episodes or comics?
That should be fixed. If not, please shoot an email to hello@tapastic.com and let them know what's up.

Tapas looks really exciting! And, as I'm now looking forward to it: do you already know the day Tapas is going to be available?
Thanks! We honestly don't know the exact day but believe me it will be as soon as we can get it out to everyone. I CAN tell you that every single person at Tapas Media is focused on it right now if that helps at all.

I know the keys or coins will be used as in 'in app' currencies to see extras or premium content but thats for readers ..... so how will the ad revenue for creators be beneficial beings key and coins?
Sure. With the old Ad Revenue Program things were pretty straightforward. Someone would sign up for the program, ads would be placed at the end of their content, the creator would get some ad revenue, Tapas Media would get some ad revenue, end of story. The reader wasn't ever really rewarded outside of enjoying the comic and helping us keep the lights on (Thanks! by the way).
With Tapas though, one thing we'll be trying is letting readers have a choice to interact with ads (say a movie trailer or something). And as a result of the interaction earn Coins or a Key depending on the situation. One good example of how it might work would be if someone was reading a premium series and they ran out of Keys. At that point they would have a few options: 1) They could buy more Keys OR 2) They would be asked if they wanted to watch a video to earn a Key. Creators on Tapas will get paid by the number of Keys that are used to unlock their content. So in that example, everybody wins. The reader gets premium content for free (or for watching the ad) and Tapas Media gets ad revenue that they split with the creator.
