My comic has a lot of POV shifts between the main characters, but since I don't have a narrator or captions or anything, it's a kinda subtle shift that has more to do with information -- when we know things that a character knows, or we're shown the emotional reaction of one character instead of others, we tend to be on the same page with them and have a better idea of their perspective.
So like, as an example, a lot of Chapter 3 is from Xira's point of view because of the information we have -- he's a telepath, and we the audience know he's a telepath, but he's hiding it from everyone else. Which means that when he and Tareth have a Definitely Very Hypothetical Conversation about whether or not mindreaders can be good people...
...we kinda side with him at first. I got a lot of comments from people scolding Tareth for being so insensitive... because from Xira's point of view, that comment was a kick in the heart.
I think we could've seen that from Tareth's point of view, but it'd have to focus more on her feelings than his. If Xira turned away from the camera (instead of away from Tareth and TOWARDS us), and the focus was on Tareth wondering why Xira was so abruptly unhappy, we would feel Tareth's confusion/concern and not be sure of Xira's feelings on being unintentionally dissed --- it'd be from Tareth's POV even though we know the answer that she doesn't have.
There's also more obvious shifts (when we see other people's thoughts, we're seeing from Xira's POV; when we can't hear dialogue and the word balloons go blank we're seeing Tareth's POV, etc.) but the subtle implications of POV in a story that doesn't explicitly have one is really really interesting to me!!
