A small bit of advice for posting links to your series

Hey all, I just wanted to share a bit of advice when it comes to sharing your links that will help your potential readers decide of a series interests them.

If you put the URL that Tapas gives you, your link will not include the genre that your series is in. Example:

Note that this link shows "stories you'll love from all genres". It was created by using
https:// tapas.io/series/Defining-Daecon

However, if you add the word /info at the end of the link, it will show the genre that your story is in.

Note that it now says "premium Lgbtq+ Community series now on Tapas". It shows that it is an LGBTQ story. If yours is a mystery, it will show "mystery", and so on. The link used was
https:// tapas.io/series/Defining-Daecon/info
The only difference between the first link and the second is adding the tag /info

Also, if you don't use /info the link will take readers to the most recent episode, but if you do use it, it will take users to your series' main page, which shows the synopsis that you wrote, your tags, etc

Huh, when I started reading your post I thought "huh, doesn't it always show you the genre? At least it does for me."

But then as I progressed I realized that I use the /info as standard becaude I like directing people to that info page haha.

Believe it or not, it actually matters where you get your link from.

If you hover the mouse over your book cover and right click, the link will be without the "info" as shown:

But if you hover it over the text that is your book title it will add the "info"

And of course the URL that Tapas gives you when you create your series does not include the "info":

I have no idea why Tapas does this. They do not tell you anywhere that they do this. I stumbled upon it by accident, after posting my link one time and noticing that it didn't show the genre.

I've honestly not been copying my link for ages now. I legit type it out everytime because I'm too lazy to switch tabs and do all the clicks to get to the link I want

I feel like I've gotten so used to it, I type it faster than I could copy it. Especially in mobile where it's a real fucking hassle to copy/paste from tapas.

So one of the things I'm STILL trying to figure out is why for some people, it'll show the summary with the info link posted, but for others it'll just show the genres? Can anyone else clarify this?
