A Type of Story you want to try to write

So as I try to write a love letter to practice my letter writing skills, I randomly wonder to myself “could this possibly be a way that people write novels?” Like letterfics in fan fiction where the entire story is of only letters.

And lo and behold, it is. But this brought another thing to my attention.

There are so many writing structures that I have either never heard of or encountered in the wild and I was wondering if anyone is creating a novel with an uncommon writing structure.

And if nobody is, what is one that they would want to write if they had no limitations?

For me, I love “Choose your Adventure.” It’s great. I don’t know why but I love the option of choice. It’s why I like video games with said choice.

What about you/the person reading this? Is there anything you’d want to write that isn’t that standard style?

I write like I'm trying fit in the puzzle pieces together to create a bigger picture.

You can imagine that my biggest weakness is organizing scenes and events that will flows smoothly.

I mean, they are so much fun playing! Imagine what a blast it'd be to write one!

it's not new or unique but i really wanna try out having an ask blog purely because i like the idea of the audience interacting

I'm trying a Historical Romance Fiction. It's not my usual genre, as I lean towards fantasy fiction most of the time. But I've decided to take on the challenge. I currently have two chapters

CYOA is fun to play, but can be a pain to plan as you're basically writing multiple stories.

I used to want to style my novel in a highly-visual style with illustration and vignette. Something like illuminated manuscripts. I thought that was the definition of "graphic novel."
That a loads of work, however. It also need strong layout and lettering skill.

When I was very young I loved to write adventure stories, now I am dedicated to the romantic genre and drama. I don't know, maybe now with a more mature perception I can create comics with that style.

I sort of had an idea of a mockumentary style novel talking about how a fictional themepark slowly destroyed a small town. But I am not sure if people would find that too dry.
