I started to write a fantasy story about my friends back in high school and made a comic that was eventually scraped. I spent over 10 years developing it to what it is now. To me, it was a story worth to create.
I'm not much a reader, but my favourite English book is Stephen King's Dolores Claireborne, my favourite French book is Ces enfants d'ailleurs by Arlette Cousture. My favourite comic series is a tie between Tintin, Sailor Moon and Locke & Key.
My next milestone is 100. (I'm at 50)
-
Ive always liked to draw, and Ive always loved comics and wanted to make one.
But when I started playing dungeons and dragons 4 years ago, I had so much fun with my group and their adventures, so I really wanted to turn it into a webcomic.I really like the "Knights of the silver dragon" series. I not sure wich one and I just love them all xD
My next milestone is 25 xD
My comic - The foxgloves (adventuring company)
Thank you so much for reading <3
I was asked if I wanted to contribute something for my college's school paper, and I decided to write comic strips for it (there was only one other person submitting comics to the paper before me). Eventually, I became the head comic writer, and now I post them online!
Hmmmmm. My favorite book series would have to be Scott Pilgrim. I've read the entire series, watched the movie, and played the video game more times than I can count.
My next subscriber milestone is 50 (I'm at 35)
What made you want to make your comic?
- I don't know really, I think it's just love? Love to drawing and comics and making stories.
What's your favorite book?
- Oh, got it a lot. The Expanse, Witcher, Jurrasic Park, Fog, Duma Key
What's your next subscriber milestone?
- 100 (I got 64)
my comic: https://tapas.io/series/Laos-Chronicles
Thank you for your support
What made you want to make your comic?
- I've always loved writing stories as a kid. I used to draw pictures on paper and put dialogues on them, only to realize they were called comics. Now that it's the digital age, I'm able to make more comics easier.
What's your favorite book?
- W.I.T.C.H. and Scott Pilgrim comics, but mostly SpongeBob storybooks
What's your next subscriber milestone?
- 1,000 but it shouldn't really matter as much. It's more fun to see comments than the numbers.
Ooh I love these!
What made you want to make your comic?
The main character of the comic, Tonx actually started out as a character in a roleplay I was a part of. Back then she was a human and I only developed the furry idea aftr the rp closed. I tried to write about her as a book but that did not work so I made an effort to get into drawing and developed it into a comic instead. Also the comic version of Tonx is much more light hearted than what she initially was in the role play.
What's your favorite book?
I would say that my favourite book is 'The Call of the Wild', I really admire stories that focus on animals without the animals needing to speak.
What's your next subscriber milestone?
I only have 10 so my next goal would be 25.
A couple of factors. I always wanted to have my story become an animated series...and a comic seemed like a good way to work my way there. Also I grew up with a lot of cartoons and comic strips and books as influences, then fell in love with manga. And the last factor...age. I was turning 30 and had yet to start. So I did.
Hard choice...um... Probably Lord of the Rings trilogy or the Chronicles of Narnia series.
100 subs is my next milestone.
(Link is in my profile)
Hi there! I'm Q, but SnackbagStudios also has Heidi and Line. It's nice being 3 on a comic!
I made a DnD campaign for us, and the others liked it so much, they wanted to help make it into a comic! I still can't quite believe it...
My fave book is usually what I read at the moment, but I LOVE Terry Pratchett's "Fifth Elephant", and Madeline Miller's "Circe"
Our next sub milestone is 1.3k (we JUST reached 1.2 and HOLY SMOKES Y'ALL I never would've thought!!)
Here's the comic, hope you enjoy adventures, magic, and slow-burn found family!
What made you want to make your comic?
Other comics that I adore, like Inhibit, Paranatural or Twisted. Books, of course, and my sister who I made a lot of stories with. I figured comics are the best medium for me to tell my stories.
What's your favorite book?
Currently "the Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss, but my story is very inspired by the "Gregor" Series by Suzanne Collins, which is also an all-time-favourite.
What's your next subscriber milestone?
I'm at 47, so 50.
My comic is 16+ for violence, so please proceed with caution. It's gonne be cool though. :>
Sounds fun, I´m in.
I love to draw and to write stories. In the end comics are the best way to combine these interests. However animated films highly inspired me too (Ghibli for example) because they show the endless potential of animation/manga/comics to tell a story.
My favourite book is Nocturna by Jenny Mai Nguyen. I´ve read it so often, the book looks like it´s gonna fall apart the next time I´ll pack it in my backpack.
I don´t have a subscriber milestone (I m at 20). But I would really like to see some engagement. It´s my first webcomic and I didn´t have any follower base to start from. Right now it feels like I m just posting into the big nowhere. Comments would be so nice... Just something that shows me that somebody really has read it.
Pls check it out! And have a nice day, you all!
1) Growing, I watched a LOT of cartoons and anime (mostly cartoons) and I love how many characters come in many different shapes and sizes, backgrounds, places, and more! Also, I started drawing since I was 3 (mostly in my parent's adult books) and never stopped
2) Me, and Earl, and The Dying Girl (I like how through out the book, the main character narrates everything! which was inspiration for my comic character)
3) My GOAL is to reach 500 before this year's over (I'm currently at 147 so I REALLY need the support!)
I was originally working on a series of comics interconnected via the lifetimes of the characters, but I eventually decided it was better to condense the work into one story and focus my efforts on a singular work.
I listen to audio books a lot these days, the ones I've listened to the most are The Mahabharata and Howl's Moving Castle.
I don't want to get caught up in numbers so I don't make goals for that kind of thing.
As I work as office worker I fear that one day I will lose the skill and heart in what I love, so I made a goal of myself to do weekly animation
Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov. It has profound impact on my world-view to human and society as a whole.
50 is a good number! (Currently at 39)
And here is this week's animation celebrate month of Pisces!
What made you want to make your comic? - Truthfully I want to make a novel someday, but I thought making a comic would be easier... I was wrong, but I wanna keep going with it, so XD
What's your favorite book? - I like a lot of different books XD My fave series overall would probably be the Percy Jackson series tho
What's your next subscriber milestone? - Don't really have one lol
I've always wanted to make comics but never felt good enough so was kinda chicken to start it. It was always something like, I can't draw backgrounds, I do't know how to draw this or that - but in the end I just realised I can't keep pushing it forever, just start it and I 'll learn on the way, YOLO you know
I have so many books I love, don't know what my fav would be tbh, plus I have the worst memory so I don't remember what I read after a while but what I can come up with now that I remember enjoying reading was the Broken Empire trilogy by Mark Lawrence.
Next goal is 500 subs, currently at 440
Hello Yall,
- I made a comic because I wanted to try something new.
- Green Eggs and Ham
- The milestone I want to reach is 100, but right now I am at 16
- I made my comic because I wanted to put down all of my ideas for stories, and I wanted to make people happy.
- Good Omens.
- My next milestone is 100 subs.

Nice idea ^^
1.) I wanted to give my characters a chance to become more than just an idea, that I was hanging on for over 15 years, and hoped others might enjoy their adventures with me (yes, a stupid thought, I know )
2.) My favorite book, or better light novel series, is "Spice & Wolf" - yes, I know, embarrassing, but I stand by it
3.) TBH, I have no milestone, I already was more than surprised that we have a little over 100 subscribers after just 3 pages, even if there is not much. I am happy with everyone who enjoys what we do.
- What made you want to make your comic?
My love for telling stories through fictional characters that I love!! And my love for drawing
- What's your favorite book?
My favorite book is a non fiction one, Night by Elie Wiesel. A hard read, but Iâm very interested in the subject.
- What's your next subscriber milestone?
For Monstrosity of a Family, 50! For Quartet Hang Out, 15!
1- I've always been kind of a storyteller, and I much prefer to tell a story visually, so I've been making comics my whole life
2- I can't really call it a book, but I really enjoy Lovecraft's The Reanimator
3- Honestly, whatever number I happen to have +1
my comic, the ghoul, is a horror/mystery, hope you like it
Here's mine ^^

What made you want to make your comic?
My love for music and history honestly. And my nerdiness. And the fact that I already had an entire planned out world in my head for my novel trilogy and then my brain decided to place historical figures in it because why the hell not. Haha. Hell. See what I did there. What's your favourite book?
It's hard to pick one honestly. I really enjoy everything by Terry Pratchett (grew up with the Discworld novels). The Book Thief is another one I have fond memories of. And I think there's more but my brain is currently fried.
Oh, and I'm enjoying Hector Berlioz's memoirs. I just wish my French was good enough to read the original. What's your subscriber milestone?
Right now I'm hoping to eventually reach 10 on Tapas (I have 2) and maybe 20 or 50 on Webtoon Canvas. I mean I wouldn't mind 100 or more eventually but my comic is very niche so I try to keep my expectations reasonable. ^^
1) I've always liked stories and creating them. I wanted to tell a story that was important to me and got inspired by Anime and Western Animation.
2) Oh, favorite books I am split there because I like classics like Paradise Lost and Fairy Queen, but there's also The Hunger Games, The Divergent Series and the House of Night series which I think my work has more in common with those latter ones.
3) My next sub milestone is 100 subs. I am currently at 69. (nice ಥ Í Ę ŕ˛Ą )
And here's my Comic
It is a supernatural urban fantasy with magic and a cult ď¸
- Q:What made you want to make your comic?
A: This definetly sounds wierd but my soul beckoned me forward to make it. I know, sounds crazy but hear me out. Sometimes whenever I'd zone out I'd daydream up some original characters, as well as worldbuilding, and eventually I figured since I love drawing might as well get all these out of my head and into reality in the form of a comic. Has anyone else experience this? - Q: What is your favorite book?
A:Ready player 1. I used to play waaaaaay too many video games and on top of being an exiting novel, Ready Player 1 also served as a nice wake up call; a reminder that I couldn't indulge myself in escapism forever. - Q:What's your next subscriber goal?
A:I'm shooting for 100 subs by the end of 2021. On one hand I got over 25 subs in the 1st 2 months of this year so mathematically I'm more than on track to meet this goal, but on the other hand a lot of my subs came from sub4subs
And, of course, a link to my comic:
Okay, here goes my attempt at this.
I'm a huge fan of the work of Antonio ProhĂas and his most notable series, Spy vs Spy from Mad Magazine. I wanted to make something as a tribute to the man that brought us the funny side of the cold war for decades.
Hard to say. Though I am a fan of Clive Cussler's Isaac Bell series.
I don't really know. Maybe either 75-100 by the end of the year.
1) I am very introverted and get lonely easily. I have always been making comics and art as a way to express myself, and to cope with loneliness. My characters are my friends, and when I'm writing about them, it feels personal. I am a god when I am making my comic. The possibilities are endless, there are no rules, and I can do whatever I want. My comic is the place where I have the most control, and make no mistakes. I love my characters, and they love me too.
2) I have many favorite books. Ray Bradbury's "The Martian Chronicles" was a huge hit for me as well as Ned Vizzini's "It's Kind Of A Funny Story". Both writers are so good, and the stories are very interesting. Bradbury is wise, and Vizzini is funny.
3) My next goal is 50 subs. I have 43 right now. The reason why I'm not aiming higher is because I think constantly comparing the number of subscribers to others is like a gambling addiction, and it takes away your self-worth. I want to aim for smaller numbers first, and grow slowly from there like a tree.
Here is my comic
What made you want to make your comic? My cousin saw some sketches in my sketch books and told me I should make it into a comic. Then we talked about story ideas for a while, before it became what it is now. XD
What's your favorite book?
book. . . I don't read a lot, but the last one I really enjoyed was the monster hunter world art book. and of course the dnd books.
What's your next subscriber milestone?
250

Our project is for bl-lovers only
1. What made you want to make your comic?
-Curiosity. It started with wondering what would happen if you introduced supernatural powers to a setting they're not normally in. Then I started building lore and history around it, and the idea kept getting more and more fun to work with that I had to share it in comic form
2. What's your favorite book?
I have too many favorites, lol
The most inspirational fave was Bakuman. Reading that story always fired me up to work on my own story and give it my 100%
3. What's your next subscriber milestone?
The current goal is 200 before Chapter 2 ends. We're close to 170 and rising, so it's looking pretty good so far!
Thanks for the questions! And now, here's LOSTLAND
