Just an unimportant person, search for more interesting people

But I sometimes create videos, draw very bad doodles and write bad stories ^^
Oh and I helped create (read write) a comic ^^ https://tapas.io/series/FoxSpirit/info

Don´t search my stuff

I think it is as always, the amount of extra pages is what you have to balance so it wont become something completey different or distracts from the main story  Somthing like this I think needs some planing.

Dont worry, old fashion doesnt mean it has to be bad - hope it didnt sound that way from me  Old fashion is just a true and tested thing ^^

Those are actually two things we are working on - in some way ^^ I wasn't quite sure if that is still a thing people enjoy  I thought people might find them to "old fashion"

That is a possibility (and a good idea ^^) - But I am not so sure if my artist is up for it, have to ask

Hi, we are quite new to the whole webcomic "business" Only started in January and after a little hiatus with some thoughts about where to go, we thought about giving back something to the few readers who keep with us even with a more chaotic schedule (private reasons) and not a very "professiona…

A new month, a new page, and the start of a lot of chaos ^^ [image]

I think you hit the nail on its head with "Finding the right balance". Working on it, you can quickly see how many traps you have to avoid to not do what you say, spoiler or making it too massive, so people might find it uninteresting or even boring. That is why I thought about this idea with adv…

We are going into our first two-week break of our comic. When we started, we thought about using this time to tell a bit more about the world or events that are going on by using mock-up advertisements or newspapers and have a little bit of fun with it  Now I was wondering: Do people care abou…

I like single panels more :stuck_out_tongue: [image]

A story has always to start somewhere, and a lot of great stories started from a place you never knew  The story of the comic I am working on started its life as a throwaway character of an RPG over 15 years ago. It was just an idea we wanted to try but never intended to work with. But I somehow r…

Nice idea ^^ 1.) I wanted to give my characters a chance to become more than just an idea, that I was hanging on for over 15 years, and hoped others might enjoy their adventures with me (yes, a stupid thought, I know  ) 2.) My favorite book, or better light novel series, is "Spice & Wolf" - yes,…

I like the idea of magic, especialy in stories that also incooperate science. There is something like that in my story, but for now, I try to keep it under wraps. The systems, if youi want to call them that, are mostly my own ideas, but I would lie, if I didn´t based them on some ideas from diffe…

I am no real creator, I wrote a few stories and only now try to get one out as a comic, but I always thought a good idea, is the one, that you will always think back with a smile and one you like fiddeling around. The story of the comic I just started releasing is based on a bad RPG character I o…

Honestly, a lot of times. I had two projects in the past, one writing and one video, and I gave up on both. Mostly because at some point I struggled a lot with no feedback or people just giving me a hard time. At some point, I tried to please people and that was my downfall. I always tried to con…

Hey, I don´t think you sound rude  As long as the biggest part of it is you, everything is fine  It was just a little warning from my side to not concentrate too much on what others might want to see - I actually had once a YouTube channel where I started with what I wanted, but over time tried…

TBH, I like to see the creativity and ideas of someone. Asking others what they like to see will mostly end in tears, because you might only create for others and at an early point you might have no more fun with it, have no clue how to continue and it becomes work, so you give up. Yes, you might…

A great topic  My main character would play a Rogue. Just because it is the way she lives her life - loving to steal stuff, just for fun and of course for the money. Funny enough my character actually came from times where some friends and I came together and tried (the emphasis on trying ^^) t…

Don´t feel down. I know how you feel - I had a YouTube channel with some videos that hit over 4k of views in just a month, but with only 1 like on it and 100 subscribers and no feedback. Sadly a lot of clicks come from bots. The moment you post a link somewhere you can be sure at least 10 views are …

As many already said: Ignore them or fight them with their own weapons. The moment they see they have no leverage on you, they will move on. I can tell you from my own standpoint because I had these kinds of comments on some of my older projects, and I concentrated too much on them. They took me …

As dumb as it sounds: Do it and have fun with it! I tried a few years to write something and failed because I tried too hard. And now after I wanted to stop I went for it one last time, just having fun and without thinking too much.

A great question, that will get some really interesting replies  For me, I have to say neither. My story is more a continuation of an idea of an P&P RPG that we never came to play. I just reworked it over the years...

I can only go from why I love to see them: I love to see how from just a few lines something big will come out. A few lines, might not look like much, but they show the level and evolution of an artist. They aren't perfect, but that is the fun of it  And the better an artist becomes, the more you …

You are welcome  Talking with others is always a good idea if you feel like you don´t know what way to go. About a buffer, I can only speak for our project. We planned one chapter. At first, we wanted to finish that before posting it but then decided to start earlier, because we got a lot of f…

Yeah, I just think this is more fun - keeping it more "down to earth" (even in a fantasy story ^^) gives you just so much more  And linking... ok... I have to be honest... we (my artist and myself) just started posting this month  So we only have three pages up yet, a reason why I don´t like to a…

I always like when creators don´t forget their universe and expand it in different ways - because for me a story is never only just the characters and their struggles but the overall  Maybe that is a reason why the story I am working on, is not your typical "good vs. evil" (tbh, there is no real …

"A girl, running around the world, searching something from someone to help a strange girl she stumbled upon in a dark cave, and also help herself for the future"

TBH, I actually don´t really care. For me it always depends on the "character". You can write both very boring but also make both very engaging (even a rock ^^). When I started writing my stories, I always mix it up, because I always hated this "Black & White" thinking, that one side has to be be…

I am not quite in your shoes, but I agree with the others who already replied. Build a buffer, it's the biggest tip you can get. Don´t make it just one or two pages, better make a chapter so you have enough time to write and draw and are prepared for everything that might come up in private life.…

This is actually a good question. Never really thought about it tbh  Thinking about it, I sometimes feel like writing her right on an edge of being "Chaotic Good" and "Chaotic Neutral". She is her own individual, not really giving a lot on what is going on around her, and is actually just out t…
