If you had to pick ONE SONG to be your comic's theme song, what song would you choose??
Exclusion (cover) by Eve and Sou. It's catchy and fun!
If your comic could become either a movie OR a television series, which do you think would work better?
Most likely a TV series. It's too random for a film (unless they want to go The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh style where they select some stories and tun it into a coherent film). I usually imagine it as a slice-of-life gag anime.
If your comic were to become famous, what age group do you think would be most obsessed with it??
I'm thinking around teenagers to young college students. The stories are family friendly enough for younger audiences, but also have the sarcasm and dryness that young adults could get.
If they were real, do you think you could be friends with your comic's main character(s)?!
I can't say if I would friends with the main character without bias since I use myself for her initial creation. Several of the other characters are loosely based on people I know, so I'm already in good terms with them. With that said, I think other people would enjoy their company. I hope.
If Hollywood offered you $500,000 USD for the rights to your comic, would you accept? (You would always be credited as the creator, but Hollywood could do whatever they wanted with your plot, even if you hated their ideas.)
I would have to read the contract before I do anything drastic. IP is a really important thing, and while 500K dollars is a lot of money I would rather think about the long term goal. There are other things to consider. For instance, what happens if I accept this deal? Will I get royalties? Can I still use my comic to sell merchandise or promote myself? If my comic becomes super successful, it would make sense if I want to still have my rights to it so that I can make more money from it right? It's all about contracts, negotiations, and which option will be the most fruitful.
Here's my comic!
