The first volume, I think, could've work as a movie, but there would be necessity for a sequel hook, which might not come, so TV series.

I guess so. The main problem is that it's hard for me to keep friendships.
5 If Hollywood offered you $500,000 USD for the rights to your comic, would you accept? (You would always be credited as the creator, but Hollywood could do whatever they wanted with your plot, even if you hated their ideas.)
Ha, no way, no rights, how's about $100k USD for a license to use my work with the condition of me staying in control of the art and writing departments, and ability to veto any changes from "the guys with charts" instead? you can make your blockbuster, I can keep making my comic without need to seek work for the next 12 years, and I can check in to make sure you won't turn it into an alien invasion flick or make my main characters humanoids or something else stupid. Even if the movie will be shit, I don't care, millions of people - millions of potential fans - will become aware of it.
