I absolutely loved it! I've watched it through twice now, the second time with my partner. (He loved it too!) It's one of those shows which gets even better on the re-watch, as you can look at it with a more critical eye and appreciate everything the writers got right. And the psychology of Adora, Catra and Shadow Weaver's characters was absolutely incredible in its attention to detail.

It's one of the few shows I've bothered to make fanart for, which says a lot.

Oh i love the show. Favorite ship is Catradora.

Favorite character is scorpia

And we cant forget unicorn man now can we XD

I really liked this series and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. With a sea of bad "reboots" and sequels, I'm often reluctant to get excited about new versions of shows I loved, and this was no exception. But-SURPRISE! It was fantastic and exceeded my (pretty low) expectations. (And while I LOVE the original show and character designs), this new take was a LOT of fun and I would even suggest the story was BETTER than the original.

I liked it enough to cosplay it (I'm not usually a cosplayer). Well, I liked it up until the last two seasons.

Yeah! She-Ra is one of my favorite animated shows; out of Western cartoons, it's probably at my #2 or #3.

In fact, last year I actually did a liveblog watch-through of the entire series3 complete with hundreds of screenshots and stupid jokes. It already gives me nice memories just looking at the early parts...

Yup! Definitely one of my favorite shows. I've already been a familiar, and a fan of, Noelle Stevenson's work before this so it's no surprised I ended up enjoying SPOP as much as I did

Such a good show!

I will absolutely be enjoying this thread with my chin resting on my hands lovingly as I scroll on down through.

That's very cool! Those are some amazing cosplays!

I really enjoyed She-Ra  My favourite character has to be Sea Hawk because he's just OTT and fabulous!

Shame there weren't more episodes but I think they're making a movie(?).

(this picture is one of my laptop backgrounds lol)

I loved She-Ra! (But not Noelle's comments in that stream. And then the Owl House came out and I loved that even more. It was like a happy replacement for Harry Potter.)

My favorite characters were Adora and Mermista. I thought Catra was redeemed very speedily considering what she'd done, but at the same time I loved the episode Save the Cat.

I have a t-shirt that says "for the honor of gayskull.":rainbow:

I'm sorry, but I haven't seen the livestream you're talking about. What did she say? Just curious.

Basically it was a thoughtless joke that wasn't intended to be offensive, but due to the team being quite homogeneous, it didn't occur to anyone why Bow, as a black character, having a brother called "Sow" who "works the fields" might come across as offensive given the historical context.

They apologised for it, but it did lead to a wider discussion about lack of racial diversity in the industry and on that stream.

Thank you so much! It took us a few months, except for Castaspella, she made her within a week!
