Before using Norse symbols (they're Norse/Scandinavian that Vikings used), message me. There's a LOT of misunderstanding involved there.
For beginners, most of them are just the alphabet or symbols for ordinary words. The Vegvisir, for instance, was a simple compass but new age people try to attribute it to "magic." It isn't.
You have to be extra careful, too, because when Christianity was trying to overthrow the Norse and Scandinavian clans, they took those symbols (which they completely misunderstood) and mixed them with symbols of Christianity at the time. So what you THINK is "ancient Norse" or "Viking" may really be a Frankenstein's Monster of Christian and old Norse/Scandinavian.
For example: The triple knot Christians like to attribute to "the holy trinity" is Celtic/pagan. It is called the triquetra and symbolized Birth, Life and Death; Past, Present, and Future; Earth, Sea, and Sky; Maiden, Mother, Crone. When the Christians took it, they erased those meanings and said it was for the Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
Message anytime if you need help in these areas. This is my heritage.
